I was prescribed a sleep apnea machine and accessories. The machine did NOT end up working for me and made my sleeping issue worse. I returned ALL equipment plus accessories to ***** in ********, ****** on *******. They gave me paperwork as proof of return. They then went and emailed back and forth with Kaiser Permanente to make sure all equipment and accessories was removed from the bill. Apria SAID they had taken care of this. I had to call today because the medical and dental insurance I pay for monthly through ** said it was not paid for. They stole the money and transferred it to pay for equipment and accessories I don't even have. I am livid because this is at least the 3rd time I have dealt with this kind of issue from Kaiser Permanente. I am VERY concerned that this has been a repetitive issue on their part and it looks like a scam. I am VERY concerned not only me but for other customers because if they are doing it to me it would not be shocking that they are also doing this to other people as well. If my insurance lapses because of this I am going to retain a lawyer. I am tired of this. It's like having a second job trying to keep up with what Kaiser and Apria are doing billing-wise to me. Why can't they get this straightened out?? It is IN their computer system! I have the paperwork to prove everything was returned! Take the $500 that was supposed to pay for my MEDICAL AND DENTAL insurance and put in back into that. Stop stealing from that account to put it to use for other purposes. I was charged $91 even though I was told at the time of serve rendered that all I owed was the ** pays which I paid at the time of service I also spoke to membership and billing who never resolved the issue but Kaiser instead reported the charges on my *************** so I was forced to pay these charges even though they were in dispute and I asked for a call back from Kaiser from a supervisor and never received it I think this was acting in bad faith by KaiserInitial Complaint

On 7/13/22, around 1:30am PST, wife checked into the Kaiser ***** emergency room in ********** experience anaphylaxis resulting from an allergic reaction. My wife has a heart problem and was experience heart pains that were 100% ignored and mis documented. The intake process was done extremely poorly as, after nearly 2 hours of not being seen by anyone, asked the intake nurse (who had just begun her shift 20 minutes prior) why she wasn't seen and asked to see the intake form. She began reciting the intake notes, which is when I immediately began suspecting either 1) no interest in documenting the facts by instilling their own perceptions of the situation, or 2) blatant racial bias. There was no mention of anaphylaxis nor her heart condition, only the fact that she had a partial drink of alcohol (.5 of one cider), which triggered the anaphylaxis. Nothing about her eyes swelling shut, nothing about her labored breathing, nothing about her heart pains, nothing that showed "human kindness" which your company purports to espouse.Therefore, I am seeking cancellation of the $525 charges for your company not only doing nothing, but putting my wife's life at risk by not admitting her or even having anyone take a look for an obvious life-threatening situation. Cancelling this for no services provided is the least you can do to make this right.Initial Complaint

The Retirement Center used by KP is a nightmare with repeated inaccurate information/lack of information the norm. Getting a straight answer over the span of months was just impossible, despite hours on the phone. I started asking for a written description of my benefits a month ago, but was told they cant send one until after youve actually retired (think about thisthere is inadequate detail on their web sitemajor life-changing decisions have to be made in the dark. Both Kaiser HR and the Ret. Ctr also refused to provide any documentation that they knew I was retiring, required by social security to avoid the hefty IRMAA assessment based on income.Okay, now I am retired, and I get these letters saying they are urgently trying to contact me. I contact them. They informed me they cant send the Summary Plan Description until after they receive my date of retirement!! I have indeed retired and I have proof they know ityet they actually told me today that they think Im actively still working. The whole retirement process has just been a complete nightmare.
