Transaction Date: Aug. 30, 2023 Service Requested: Clutch replacement and installation Amount Paid: $2002.24 Car: 2015 ****** WRX STI Mileage: ****** 8/14/23: Oil change from Ubersport Performance. Upon picking up my car they told me I needed my clutch replaced and because I was having issues with my car I figured that might be the issue so I scheduled a clutch replacement and installation for 8/29/23.8/29/23: The worker informed me that it would only take half a day to complete when I dropped off the car. I did not receive any calls from them that day and since I was working I didn't have any issue with it.8/30/23: I called at around 11 AM wondering why it took so long to complete. When I called, a different worker answered and didn't sound worried but told me it was almost done and I could pick it up within an hour. They called me an hour later and I got dropped off at the shop.Upon arrival, the worker from the day before said, "Did they call you about your car?" I said no and he said the master cylinder for the clutch was leaking, that is why it was kept overnight and it would cost an extra $200 so I paid. When I picked up my car, I was still having issues (rough idle & no boost).9/6/23: I called them because my receipt didn't include the invoice and I was still having issues. No one answered and the phone was disconnected. 9/15/23: I called back three times and the number was disconnected every time.I opened my hood and connected my air intake so I was able to make boost but after still having rough idle, I searched ****** my car diagnosis and thought spark plugs might be the issue so I scheduled an appointment at a different shop on 10/30.10/30/23: Once the spark plugs were replaced (actual issue), the mechanic put my car on the lift and I saw my bolts are from the factory, corroded, and clutch still has factory seal. My car has very low mileage so it still has the factory bolts (corroded) and other hardware, therefore, the clutch was never replaced.
