Our ***** Ridgeline was purchased from this dealer in November 11, 2023 with ****k miles. They did an "Extensive" True360 report where they claimed the vehicle was in good condition and everything bad was fixed. The Carfax stated that the transmission fluid was changed at ****** miles so we were satisfied in everything being checked out. 2k miles came around and we began having mechanical issues with the transmission overheating and we would get error lights. We took it back to Selman and they claimed this was a ***** related issue and sent us on our way. When we took it to *****, they found that the vehicle had poor maintenance as contaminants in the burnt fluid were found. I called Selman over this discrepancy and was told I was out of luck because they have records of the vehicle passing their tests and was sold as is. This led me to having to pay hundred in maintenance that their documentation would state I wouldn't have to worry about in thousands of miles. This is unethical practice as they did not do proper inspection and also denied responsibility in selling a working car.

Called Selman ***** for ordering a ***************************************************************************************************** added accessories and was done verbally, nothing on paper other than the deposit receipt. The vehicle came in early September and I went in and purchased and sign the paperwork on Sept 7, but had to come back and pick up the car on September 11. No issues with price at all. I was told that we had verbally agreed that I HAD to finance through them and wouldnt let me bring my own approved loan. This vehicle is for commercial TCP use. When I went to go pickup the vehicle on Sept 11th I went around to inspect and clearly saw scratches on the front bumper and told the salesman and he got it taken care of. Took the car, drove it home and parked it there for a month till the registration showed up on Oct 3 and took the car for a wash and saw body damage on the top of the rear spoiler and looks like someone tried to cover it up by spray painting it, with overspray everywhere. Called the salesman and sent him pictures and said theres nothing we can do. So I called the manager and basically said Im on my own cause Ive had it for less than 30 days. I asked for an inspection checklist which I was ignored and said the detailers had inspected the vehicle but clearly missed those big scratches on the bumper and had to get them buffed out, so Im not surprised that they didnt fully inspect the vehicle at all and still didnt provide on any other detail of the pre inspection checklist even though I asked about 3-4 times. Then the manager told me, we took care of it didnt we?. Shouldnt have been there in the first place if it was inspected. I am not stupid nor want to waste my valuable time on going through this. This damage most likely happened during transport and they tried to cover it up by spray painting it clearly. They didnt want to put a claim to ***** or anything other than telling me to bring it in and well take a look at it.
