On 7/19/23 I took my car for an alarm installation and I was quoted $350 by *****. I asked him to confirm in advance if he had the firmware & could do the installation because I have a brand new 2023 ***** CRV hybrid. He assured me that he did. After picking up my vehicle, I noticed the 2nd remote was not paired and my phone app was not setup. In addition, the original factory alarm horn would go off when I attempted to disarm the vehicle and they did not assemble my dashboard back properly. I explained this all to ***** and was told to take back the vehicle again on 7/24/23 to take care of those issues and that it would take about 45 minutes. When I arrived, the installer, ****, was there and had me explain everything to him again as ***** had not informed him. He took the door and fuse panel apart to try to figure out the factory alarm trigger.After three hours, he disconnected both the factory alarm and the new Viper alarm I paid to be installed, also the wires he added/cut while I was there made all warning lights trigger in my dashboard. The installer was dismissive, pretending like it wasnt a big deal. He told me not to worry and that he was experimenting on my car since it is new. He also said he was not afraid to break them apart. My original ***** fobs are now not working, nor the Viper fobs and both alarms are disconnected. So my car is worse than when I brought it.I am now being asked to bring my car a third time and take more time away from work. I asked for a refund and they do not want to refund me. Both installer and owner are indifferent and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. They should have not touched the car if they didnt have the right technology. They should never experiment on a customers car.
