I purchased a Monogrammed Grain De ****** Wallet on Chain. The bag had to be exchanged once as the leather trim had peeled off after 2 uses. The new bag had been worn 3 times and had the same issue (peeling trim). The purse was brought in and repaired 6/27/23 $80 paid. The bag was left in the dust bag and not worn until 8/16/23. The bag was worn ONCE and the trim has come off on again. I have spoken to 2 managers at YSL ********* *************** who have confirmed that the trim SHOULD NOT be peeling off. I took the bag into YSL ********* for reassessment 8/26 and was advised by ***** that it would be sent back for repairs at no cost to me. Today (8/31/23) I received an email from ***************************** (Operations Manaber) advising: Our repairs team got back to us and they unfortunately had to deny the repair. When sent out to them the first time they repaired the peeling edge paint but the peeling leather was un-repairable due to wear and tear. This is highly unacceptable and clearly reflective of the lack quality and defectiveness in the product. I paid for repairs in June of 2023 and less than 45 days after repair and only wearing the bag ONCE, Ive had the same issue. Furthermore, it was never indicated by YSL initially that the leather trim could not be repaired and only the paint was addressed. This bag has had VERY minimal use and the leather should NOT be peeling off, under any circumstance as YSL prides itself on producing products of quality.YSL HAS TAKEN PHOTOS OF THE PRODUCT WHICH SUBSTANTIATES THAT THERE HAS NOT BEEN HEAVY WEAR AND TEAR NOR USE OF THE BAG.I currently do not have the product in my possession as it is currently at the ********* location.
