      I ordered an after market hood for my truck. I spent close to $900 on this item. When I received the item I took it to several auto body shops, all claiming its defective and broken.       **It is extremely important to follow these instructions exactly to ensure that your shipment will be covered by the damage insurance.

      When the shipment arrives, please be sure to thoroughly inspect the box and its contents for any major damage to the parts. You must unpack the order and remove each item from the box to check for concealed damage. If you do find damage to any of the items, please physically write "Damaged" on the delivery bill. Do not write anything else other than "damaged" on the delivery bill as it can affect the outcome of a claim decision by the shipping company. You will then accept the shipment as is, and notify us immediately. We will ask for digital pictures to verify that damage has occurred as it will be needed for processing the claim. In the instance major damage has occurred, we will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship you new parts as soon as they are available.

      **Please note that if a product is damaged in transit and it was not inspected at delivery and not noted so on the delivery bill, we will be unable to assist beyond that point. Once the customer signs the bill of laden the shipping company will not allow us to submit a claim on your behalf.

      **For orders shipped to a body shop it is your responsibility to contact them prior to delivery to ensure they inspect it before signing for it. If your body shop signs for the package without inspecting its contents for concealed damage we will not be able to file a claim for you with the shipping company.

      **Do not discard any of the packaging or plastic wrap when a damage shipment occurs.We will need images of the box as well as the internal packing. We will also need image of the part # label that may appear on the part or bagging if applicable.

      Although no images of fitment issues were provided we still provided the customer the option to return this. We also received a ****** dispute which customer closed when we replied with the return instructions that were already provided. No return has been made and customer did leave us a bad review on ******. I did reach out to her by phone several times offering assistance but she cut off communication before doing a ****** dispute and then closing her claim.

      I just left you a voicemail. The bolt holes in the hood are what the blocks of wood that were mounted to the hood were bolted to. The threaded insert in the hood is only about 3/8" long and does not go all the way down into the hood as the screwdriver is demonstrating. There is also a bolt kit that comes with the hood. As for the crack this was not reported at the delivery inspection and we cannot file a claim once you sign off.

      "These images do no justice to defect of our hood. The images of the s**** driver prove nothing. There are bolts bolted and screwed into the two wood stands on the back hinge areas both driver and passenger side. If they were not threaded how would we be able to s**** the bolts into the wood stands through our hood.Also we provide bolt kit made specifically for this hood in a clear bag taped on the underside of our hood. Those are the bolts to be used when installing the hood. This is not a primer ready hood and requires to be fully block sanded and prepped and primed and painted. I also notice one image of a crack on the hood so that is a damaged area which should of been reported to driver and noted by driver upon delivery for a damage claim. Also one image showing towards front underside of hood are water drain holes for the rain there is one of each side of the hood that is where the water is guided when it rains and pours out in front of your engine as to prevent anything directly into your engine FYI. I have also attached the proof of delivery receipt from the carrier.

      As you can see we have done our very best to assist this customer and we even made an exception to allow her to return the item even though it had shipping damage that she signed off on stating that it arrived safely.The customer cut off communication and closed the dispute she tried with ******. The customer would be fully covered for warranty if fitment images were provided showing the issue on the vehicle itself. This was not done and customer was not willing to cooperate with me on what I would need to address this with the manufacturer that shipped the hood to her. It has a full warranty for fitment.

      9/4/24 purchase made, Godspeed Coilovers for a *************************************************************************************** **. Received product and reached out for a return/refund within the 10 window. Product was NEVER used/installed and remained in the shipping box as was delivered and received. Contacted ***** ****** on how to proceed. Returned product as was received only to be denied refund. Stating I installed the coilovers on a vehicle because of imperfections on the product. Correspondence was made back and forth to obtain refund but they persisted saying product was used. I spoke with a Master Mechanic at ************** in *********; he confirmed that the imperfections are due to poor CNC manufacturing not due to an alleged installation. I have reached out to Naval Legal and they recommended to first, contact Mr. ******* which I did to no avail. Second is to contact the BBB, which I am. And if not resolved then to pursue legal action.The coilovers are now once again in my possession, Mr. ****** and Godspeed refuse to except responsibility for inferior products and good customer support. In addition to the compressed photos attached there are several more that could not be added due to lack of allowable upload.Monies paid and requesting full reimbursement $1,076.63 for the coilovers and $98 charged to return the product (Shipping fee) totaling $1,174.63

      The return instructions for this order required the kit to be new and never installed. The kit came back not in new condition so return could not be accepted. We shipped the parts back to the customer and we covered the return shipping cost as a gesture of good faith. No refund is due and the customer has his items back.

      I am rejecting this response because: The coilovers, while in my possession, have never been installed. I repeat, have never been installed. One with common sense may see that only two pictures of shoddy craftsmanship, and that due to poor CNC. Otherwise, if the coilovers had in fact been installed, there would be evidence at not only the top of just one coilover but to the bottoms and to the other three as well. I can not believe a business, small or large, would have the audacity to make such a claim. If these are not returned at the shippers expense and I'm refunded the entire amount I paid, including the wasted money that was paid to return them, I am in the process of filing a claim with local superior courts.

      Unfortunately no images were provided prior to your return that showed that the parts were in new condition when you shipped them. If you had contacted us stating the order was received in this condition we would have provided a pre paid return label for return. You requested a non warranty return due to change of mind. You were instructed the item had to be in new condition and not installed on a vehicle. The item upon return back to the manufacturer was inspected at arrival and found to have marks where the bolts were tightened for the top hats and they show wear as if they were installed on a vehicle and then removed.

      Because this was a non warranty return and no notation was made prior to your return for these items to be in this condition there is no proof from you that a perfect condition kit was shipped back. We are only going off what you are stating however the images of the items you shipped back do not align with the details you are providing.

      The last thing we would ever want is to deny a claim and we made the gesture of faith by covering the shipping out of pocket to get these parts delivered back to you.

      We have requested video of the issue so you can demonstrate the problem but you have not provided that. This is a fiberglass aftermarket body kit and not an OEM plastic bumper.

I just escalated his video he sent me yesterday.This customer needs to be patient and work with us to complete the process with his warranty which is with the manufacturer.       "Video with customer commentary about how the bumper is not uniform in thickness and is very thin in specific areas requiring fiberglass mat and resin to be added from the back side to provide enough strength to be usable on the vehicle. Some of these areas are only 1/16" thick and are not the advertised 6 ounce thickness. No work had been done on this bumper nor has the bumper been test fit due to the issues with how thin this part is."

      The date of the transaction was January 18th 2024. I purchased a replacement bumper for my car because I rear ended someone back in December. The damage wasn't a lot but it was enough where i would have to do some repairs to my front bumper so i thought it would be nice to just get a nicer more sporty bumper. The bumper came in and I took it in to have someone install the bumper but they couldn't install the bumper because it was defective. The bumper was too short and would hit the radiator and ac condenser. So once the shop notified me of that I reached out to the company and let them know that it was defective. I then disputed the charge with my bank for it being defective. **** sided with the company because of their bogus return policy that should be illegal. Federal law requires refunds if the product is defective. Their return policy is not above federal law and should not be the reason these people can sell products they know not to be as advertised. My purchase was for $1044.30 and i have to be out the money because they're shady and have a return policy that is impossible to be able to return. I would like the business to refund me my money or i will be seeking legal council and will file a lawsuit against them.

      -Purchase made March 8, 2023 for a Mustang cobra body kit (front/rear bumpers and left/right side skirts)-When I first received the order on April 18th, 2023, I was sent two of the same side skirts, then had to wait months for the "proper" kit. -Once I received the "proper" kit, I finally was able to get the Mustang into a body shop to get the Driven By Style body kit installed and nothing fit! The body shop couldn't believe how bad the fitment was, I mean the rear bumper is 3" too big! Basically, I have parts that are useless, to anyone, I can't even resell them to try and get my money back! I have att'd pictures here from the Body Shop.- The owner of Driven by Style, ***********************, continued to "pass the buck" saying that Driven By Style is not the manufacturer, and any refund would have to come from "extreme dimensions" who made the parts. They issued an "RMA" and expected me to figure out a way to ship back parts and ensure they would not get damaged. I obviously did not do this because I have no way to do it! I would need a box 8 feet long, 5 feet high and 2 feet wide. You would think they would have sent me a new packing box to send it back. Either way, i don't trust them and am not sure I would send it back without refund in advance!- The fact that this company, Driven By Style LLC, can charge people for parts that are obviously outsourced, and then take no responsibility for anything afterwards is FRAUD. They should not be allowed to operate anywhere, let alone sell to ******. - I am also reporting them to the BBB of US. I appreciate your help.

      We provided you a non warranty return authorization (RMA). You have to
      cover the cost of shipping to get it back. We will issue a full refund
      on the parts excluding shipping. This is all in the terms and conditions
      of sale. Please refer to your receipt for terms and conditions and
      return policy.

      If you wish to proceed with manufacturer warranty we provided you list
      of what they need to continue with your claim. We want to assist you but
      we are not the manufacturer and we do not handle the warranty
      ourselves.

      As already explained, the distributor did not answer my questions or aid in returning the parts physically other than saying they provided an RMA. Also, since they did not aid in the return, they now say there is a 25% restocking fee for these useless parts.

      We cannot approve a manufacturer warranty for you. Because you did not cooperate and provide what was required we provided a non warranty return RMA (return manufacturer authorization) and the return address on Sept 1. This RMA is good for 30 days.

      It is now 10/23 and extended return RMA is valid until 11/1 but carriers a 25% restocking fee. No return has been made.

      As I explained, I already paid a body shop just to TRY and fit these parts. They obviously didn't leave them on after they did try them because THEY DIDN'T FIT!!!! So I'm expected to pay the body shop again to take off the stock parts again and try to fit these incorrect parts, again, so Driven By Style can have a couple more angles?? This is absolutely ridiculous, and I'm just getting more frustrated.

      Driven by Style are obviously frauds. Why doesn't Driven by Style take some responsibility and call the body shop themselves, wouldn't that help??!! Here is the name:

      On July 11, 2022, I purchase a carbon fiber hood (Order #DBS42069) for $1673.90 from this business. I had this hood professionally installed and was told by the installer that the hood was warped, dented and did not fit my car. I took pictures of the hood as proof that the hood did not fit and contacted Driven by Style to return the hood. I was told by Driven by Style that I needed to return my car to the professional installer and have the defected hood reinstalled on my vehicle and take more pictures. To have this done, I will have to pay the professional installer again to have the defected hood installed on my vehicle AGAIN just to take pictures.

      Customer then attempted a chargeback dispute thru his bank which was decided in our favor which he then filed an appeal. The appeal was also decided in our favor. The customer then threatened us with filing a ******************** claim and we let him know we would reply to the case with all the communication on his claim.

      This complaint has no merit as the customer provided 4 closeup photos only and refused to cooperate when we tried to assist him on filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer of the product. In order to do that he had to provide all the test fitment photos required which he refused to do and his case could not proceed. No return was ever made and the customer kept the product. I have uploaded copy of the customer receipt, signed proof of delivery and rebuttal to his credit card dispute detailing the entire claim.

      May 5, 2022 The hood itself is 464$ I had contacted the bank about the issue I was having with the hood the fitment was good but everytime I would attempted to close it I would feel like it's going to fold in half, I have tried contacting the company but they've been nothing but useless and they blantely disrespected me and really don't care for a resolution. On there disclaimer they did they is was fiberglass which I had no issues with that but they had no disclaimer on the shocks needing to be replaced, I paid 800$ to get the hood painted and I can't even use it. The hood had been sitting in my garage since I got it painted I've been open to returning the hood but again the company has no remorse or even want to try to resolve my issue they asked that I revoke my bank dispute and they would contact me for a resolution but they never contacted me. I'm frustrated I spent alot of money for this company to just toss me aside and take advantage of me. My order number is (DBS39869)
