Stone tall evolution, but contracted through floor and decor in **** ******. Instead of the 10 days it was supposed to take them to start my project. It took almost 3 weeks for them to get the measurements and the template for my sink. Another three weeks went by they finally came to do the install. They came into my home demolish my cabinets knocked a hole in my wall and hit the countertop so hard with hammers it knocked the electronics out in my dishwasher. At this point they found out the granite was cut too short. They left me without a functioning for kitchen for 10 days. When they came back it was cut wrong again. They came back two days later. They did a force fit by making the seams wide and sloppy. They also used two different slabs of granite so the color is not the same. They refused to compensate me. I had to pay someone to fix my wall and $800 for a new dishwasher. This is unacceptable and I would like at least half of my money back. These people should absolutely not be in business.

We had countertops installed in our home by Stone Tile Evolution on June 16, 2022. The countertops were purchased through Lowes and Stone Tile Evolution was the contractor. We paid just under $5000 to have this work done professionally and the workmanship that was done was not even close to professional grade. Our initial order consisted of an overhang of 1.5 in. all the way around The bar top slab that was installed was cut to short and has no overhang. So not only does the bar not look right but we are also out the material in which we paid for. Measurement and installation of the bar counter top did not take the brackets into consideration. The granite was laid on top of the brackets rather than inlaid. The Brackets are now showing and in plain view. The finishing on the granite that is attached to the walls is not straight or smooth. It is completely jagged and unpolished. In fact all edges of the entire granite countertop are unpolished. The seams joining the two granite slabs are not leveled or smoothed. Additionally, the joining pieces on the countertop and in the trim are off centered. The trim in several locations are not flush and the back piece is higher than the side piece. There is a noticeably large scratch in the granites surface which should be protected by the seal coating. The granite slab over the sink is not centered on the sink. The back of the sink is flush but the sides and front of the sink are not. After Multiple attempts to get in touch with the business management has been futile. a Multitude of requests have been pushed through to the receptionist *******, but we can never talk to or get a call back from anyone. We brought this to the attention of Lowes who is now reviewing the situation and the use of this contractor in the future. We filed a claim with Lowes and it wasn't until then that we heard from the Stone Tile Evolution. But yet again, no management involvement, just the receptionist.
