Ace Air and Appliance (aceairandappliance.com) was contacted and a technician scheduled to perform a diagnostic on my restaurant kitchen appliance and repair the issue. I used my credit card and was charged $78.38 for the initial inspection which was to be applied against the repair. No repair was done and the diagnostic was not performed. When I called to follow up, the person answering the phone claimed they don't do kitchen appliance repairs and hung up the phone on me. The 800 number listed on the website as an alternate number does not work either. This business appears to be a scam to consumers and other businesses. I've filed a credit card dispute with **** and hope to be able to recover the funds, but other people should be warned about this business.Initial Complaint

Ace Air Appliance runs several websites, including the one I found them on. They run **********************************************. They also run ***************************************************. I only know them as Ace Air Appliance because it's on my invoice. They sent a technician to my home on Sept. 25, 2023 to fix my refrigerator. The technician charged me and brought parts. He said it would fix the issue. After install, he said to contact him directly if it did not work. When it did not, he tried something else. When that did not work, I spoke several times with the dispatcher who would always tell me they'd contact the technician and get back to me. That consistently did not happen. Eventually I finally asked to speak with a manager and they said one would call me back on 2 separate times. The finally, they blocked my number and stopped answering my phone calls. My texts to the technician were also eventually ignored. I have the whole text thread and will attach it. If you call from my cell phone, it just says the business cannot be contacted from my area code. The website is filled with lies. It says all repairs are guaranteed. The don't have company trucks with a large selection of parts like they claim. My technician came in his personal vehicle and has ZERO parts in his coupe. They say my technician is factory trained and certified. But I don't see that evidenced anywhere in this repair or the denial of their guarantee. This is the worst customer service I've had in years and I feel scammed. The business goes by multiple names and blocks customers when their repair fails. And they replaced the parts in my fridge that were working fine and then just quit, leaving me with a refrigerator still has the exact same issue, while taking my money nonetheless. We paid Ace Air Appliance to repair our Miele refridgerator on 6/14/23 $421 and they provided a 90 warranty on parts/labor but the next day the appliance started making the same grinding noise. I contacted them and they were going to have the technician ********************** come back out but we have since left 4 more messages by phone and email and they do not respond. We keep calling their number and they answer then hang up on us and just did it again before filing this complaint. These guys are frauds and need to be put out of business so we have reported them to the DA's office as well. Their business license is ****** and ****** on our receipt. I was scammed by this business. I paid ACE for a diagnostic on my refrigerator. I was told an expensive part was needed for repair. I agreed to the price and the repair service. They never ordered the part or performed the service. When I call in, they say that they will call me back. They never do. After calling in a few times, over the past 6-months, they blocked my number. I believe that they intentionally took my money for the diagnostic, and never had any intention of repairing it. When I look up the Yelp reviews, this company seems to have a history of doing that. As a result, I don't think I paid for a legitimate diagnostic. I think that they took my money, and that they don't actually repair appliances.
