I was hit by a driver with anchor general insurance company on October 30th 2024. My car was totaled and had to be towed away to ********* towing in ******. Anchor General has not taken my car out of the tow lot in over 9 days and I was served a lien on my car that they would soon sell it on public auction if the storage fees are not paid. I should not be liable to pay such fees as I was the one who was hit. Anchor General had left the car on the lot for so long that this bill is over $1000 to get the car out. They have not called to give me information other that the adjuster berely going out today November 9th to inspect my damaged vehicle. They have not made any effort or have disclosed and information to me. I made a claim with them on October 31st. I just want them to be help accountable for the damages that there driver inflicted on my car. I have an attorney who is working on my case but Anchor General does not seem to want to comply. My car is a 2013 ****** Sentra ** and I owe about $10,000 on it. The vehicle is a total loss and I can not afford to pay the towing company another day for storage fees.

Had a car accident on 10/22/2024 where the other person was at fault which has this Anchor general insurance as coverage for the vehicle, however after filing my claim to them that same day, I only got a call the next following day to submit images of the damage to their claims email, so I went ahead and sent them. After this day I have not once heard back from them, no calls, messages, voicemails, updates, status on case, no answer at all from this company. I have been calling them since the end of that week following the next week and until today as well 11/04/24 with no answer from the claim specialist assigned to my case or her supervisor which I also left voicemail to. I am not sure who else will I need to speak with to get this fixed. My vehicle has not been fixed, it is the only way of transportation for me and I am unable to move around as my vehicle cannot be driven. Its been 2 weeks now with no answer to this claim.

We appreciate the feedback. Our office made contact with you on 10/28/2024 and obtained your statement as to your facts of loss. After review of your facts of loss and video footage, we have determined that you were not at fault for this loss. We also advised you that you did not carry Collision coverage for your vehicle damages and would need to contact the third partys carrier to pursue your damages. This file is now considered closed.

We strive for excellent customer service and apologize if communications were not properly addressed at any point during our handling of the claim.

I have been trying to reach out to my adjuster ***** ****** and her supervisor, **** *****, regarding when I can take my car in to be repaired. They are impossible to reach, the phone doesnt even ring it goes straight to voicemail. Throughout this entire process the only time I received any news is by constantly calling them. Their customer service is terrible.

      Business response

      09/21/2024

We appreciate the feedback. Our office made contact with you on 09/18/2024 and advised you that we would be issuing you a payment for your $1,000 deductible because you carry the collision deductible waiver. The advance deductible payment was sent to you directly so you have the funds available to cover paying your deductible to the shop. Payment for damages less your deductible has been paid to Collision Werks where you had the estimate written and the collision portion of this claim is now considered closed.

We strive for excellent customer service and apologize if communications were not properly addressed at any point during our handling of the claim.

On April 2nd, I was hit by a person who has Anchor General Insurance. I filed a claim my insurance but due to my deductible and the responsibility of the other driver because he hit me, I was told to go through his insurance. The day of the accident I also called his insurance company and let them know that he had hit me and I wanted to get my car repaired. After a few weeks I was assigned to adjuster, *******************************. I spoke to him and he said that they had to make sure that they were at fault for the accident. In May, he claimed he could not find a police report or incident report so I gave him the number and called our county clerks office. On May 24th, I forwarded him the report from the county. Since then, I have emailed and called two to three times a week and left ***************** multiple messages. He has not returned my calls even though estated in his phone, he would return calls within ************************************************************************ He is also had the same issues. The insurance company told him that they have already fixed my car which is not true. He called 17 times yesterday and they refused to call him back. I also called five times yesterday and multiple times last week with no return calls or emails yet again. All I want is my car to be repaired. I just want this nightmare over.
