1 Stop Moving & Storage charged me $17,000 (plus other expenses) to move my property from Oceanside CA to ********* **. Owner *********************** ************ assured me this included packing and 2 men to unload the truck in **. The day of the move I had to contact friends to assist me ASAP with packing. Items that I was assured would be "specially packed," the man in charge (****) refused to pack. I had to continue because my home had closed escrow and I had to turn over possession to the buyers in a couple of days. The home I was moving to had just been remodeled. I was assured 2 professional men would drive the truck to VA and unload my property. I was not to worry about any damage to new flooring, walls, etc. I was also assured I would receive updated communication on the progress of the truck to VA and arrival date. The arrival date was estimated at May 17 or 18th. On May 18 I called the office twice with no return call. I had received no information when the truck would arrive. On May 18, I am home alone and the truck arrives at 3PM. The driver of truck (*********************** age 62, 5 feet-one / per driver's license)...is alone with no assistance. The driver wanted to unload the truck. I told him no! I paid for 2 people to unload the *********** wanted no interior damage of my home. The driver contacted the 1 *********** Moving Office and so did I. Later I spoke directly to the owner *********************** and he assured me a 2nd professional mover would be there the next morning with the driver. I told **** and the driver, not to return unless there were 2 people to unload. Next morning at 7:45am the driver returns alone and insists on being paid $8,500. Either he was going to unload the truck by himself or leave. My son-in-law was there, and had to help unload the truck...including several large items. Also, one box was missing in the shipment. Requesting $5,000 Refund.

1 Stop Moving's insurance does not cover my loss. It covers for loss or damaged property. While I had some damaged property and one missing box, 1 Stop moving did no inventory so I could not prove a box was missing. My damages, not covered by their insurance, was for misrepresentation and failure to provide the service under their contract.  There were supposed to be two people to unload their moving truck in VA and they only sent one person. 1 Stop Moving failed to tell me a day in advance when the truck would arrive...and just showed up when I was alone at my newly remodeled home. The drive wanted to unload the truck by himself which I refused to let him do. There were items that had to be moved correctly as to not damage walls and floors. I got the owner **** on the phone, he personally promised me he would have someone there the next morning to work with the driver to unload the truck. Next morning the truck drive shows up again alone...he said he never heard back from 1 Stop Moving or Elad about any additional help.  My son-in-law ended up having to help unload the moving truck...because the driver was going to leave. When I was able to get **** on the phone latter in the day....he just laughed. Bottom line, 1 Stop Moving cheated me by only having one personal available to unload my possessions. 1 Stop Moving's insurance does not cover lies and deceit. Other customers have complained about lies and deceit too.

My claim is for $5,000 and nothing less.

My wife and I were under a lot of stress and had hired a moving company who had asked us for a check deposit which seemed high(we considered it a scam) We decided to get quotes from several companies in the San Diego area which made us feel more at ease. We came a cross One stop moving and storage which was significantly higher priced than other; but since the owner came out ant told us that there were be no problems getting all of our stuff based on his quote, my wife and I agreed to hire his company. To our surprise once the movers came they could not fit all of our things. My wife and I were willing to leave some outside furniture so that it would be less space on the truck, yet it was still too many things. What really bother me is when I got the owner of the company on the phone and he said: " your wife told me that there were be no beds going on the truck so that is where the space we originally made for you got occupied by the beds." we had two mattress and one small headboard which did not take that much space, none the less his statement was false as our beds were always going to come with us to *****; I had sent him the estimates from other companies which included the beds and many other things that we were willing to leave behind once the truck was full. Not only did they not deliver all of our things, but they kept raising their price. we had to pay them because God is watching and it is all His to avenge. I am simply sending this to you as a way to voice my opinion about the company. "it has never been about the money as my wife and I have been blessed to no end; it is merely about principal and a man's(owner) word which was rendered void." God bless you and thank you for your time.

At the visual estimate we were told none of the beds would be moving with them. It is even stated in the estimate and contract not moving any beds. The original contract and estimate was for direct delivery, however the customer had to postpone the delivery to *******, **. Thus we had to move his items to storage which required us to unload the truck into storage and then reload the truck at a later date. The customer was informed that this would be an additional cost to which the customer agreed. The customer was given a discounted rate for the delivery of the remaining items that did not fit on the truck. When the second truck arrived to deliver the all remaining items the customer refused to pay.

I hired One Stop Movers to pack and move some heavy and bulky items that I wasn't able to move myself from Oceanside, CA to Las Vegas, NV. They collected the items on Dec 10, 2021 and delivered them on Dec 11, 2021. While positioned several safes, they damaged walls, breaking or cracking the drywall in several places. The leader of the moving team took pictures and stated he would provide them to One Stop and I should expect a call the following week. Receiving no call, I've since made several calls and sent emails providing pictures of the damage. To date, I've received nothing but the runaround from the few I've spoken to and no affirmative response from either them nor their insurance company offering to repair or pay for repairs.

The customer, ***** ********,  requested a refund of $350 for damages to his property that were incurred during his move. After reviewing pictures and talking to our insurance company, we refunded the $350 he requested (refunded 1/15/22). Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide.
