I had signed a contract with Demand construction for a solar system installation and it has been 4 months and my system is not operating and several attempts had been made by Demand construction to fix the issue and it is still not resolved and now they claim that the issue is with one of the system controller from enphase company. Even though the system controller was replaced , the same issue exist and when asking for resolution they keep saying that its a problem with the enphase company and when I contact the enphase company they say they have escalated the issue and there is a problem with the install. I have asked for another set of eyes to look at the installation to make sure that all wiring is done correctly, however that request is not being accepted , so here I am with no possible solution to move forward.

      Dear **** ******,

We are pleased to inform you that your project has been completed in accordance with the agreed plans, and all necessary steps have been provided to you. We are currently working with Enphase, who is troubleshooting the issue from their end. It appears to be a possible relay switch problem. Enphase has indicated that if they are unable to resolve the issue within the next few days, they will escalate it to their ************** to have the equipment replaced.

In the meantime, they have requested that we verify the wiring and ensure all connections are correct, which we have already done. As Ive explained, there is nothing further we can do at this moment except wait for Enphase to respond.

As we have no direct affiliation with Enphase beyond using their products, please note that they, as the manufacturer, are solely responsible for handling warranty claims, including ****.

We will stay in constant touch.

      Best regards,

      Damla bahlounian

As requested by Demand Construction/Nation Energy (DC/NE) I paid nearly $47,000 for the solar system prior to the final inspection. The inspection was done on 9/4/24 and failed because the placard on the electrical panel was incorrect. A problem that should not have occurred since the lead installer took a picture of the battery wall IN THE GARAGE and not at the back of the house. Now, more than 6 weeks later they have not corrected the placard. If I were the manager or the owner I would want this simple fix done **************'s better to put out a little money to rush a new placard than to ruin a company's reputation.I'm out $46K+ and still paying full price to **************************** as well.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

While this is a very kind offer, it will not be necessary as the work has finally been completed. All I have ever wanted is for the work to be done and in a timely manner. This did not happen. As it happens, the day I received this I also had the local inspector out as I had complained to them as well. Everything that had been done a few weeks back by ****, had passed. The only problem was the placard.  That same day I found a local company that could do the same placard but with the changes required at a cost of only $30 (mostly because it was a one time request and there would be a lot of material waste) and it would be done in a couple of days. Oddly/Fortunately, I received a text from ****** of Demand Construction saying they would be out the following Monday, 10/21, to finish the job. I informed her that I had already seen the inspector earlier and that everything had passed and that the placard was the only item left. She was to get back to me to let me know if it was received. She never got back to me.

A business survives on communication and fixing problems that they caused in a timely manner. This did not happen. It is unfortunate.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******

On June 12, 2024 Demand Construction installed a solar system with battery wall on my house. Originally they wanted to do the final inspection on 7/9/24. I told him that until the salesman (US Renewable Energy) called me regarding issues with the sale/financing the final inspection could not happen. He said he would call the Salesman at US Renewable and have him contact me. I was to call Demand Construction back on 7/8 to update him. The Salesman never contacted me and the final inspection did not proceed. After weeks of trying to get answers I finally decided to go forward with the final inspection. I texted Demand Construction on 7/24/24 (same number I still had texts from) and notified the installer that he could proceed with the install. No response. On 8/12/24 I called Demand Construction twice, hours apart. Both times went to voice mail. The second time I left a voicemail with the install location and my phone number. No on returned my call. The number on their web page is the same number I have for the installer. I also have a 214 number that I have called. No one picks up the phone. Always voicemail, even when I use another person's phone.Frankly, I don't see how this could possibly be an A+ company. Granted they are good with the installation but other than that they are jerks.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ** ********, and find that this resolution is very satisfactory to me.

It is unfortunate that I have written the BBB twice now, to let them know that I wanted this complaint removed. I used the ** in the subject, sent it to the email address that was contained within the BBB's response to me ******************************************* and I never received a response nor was it noted in the history of the complaint.

Demand Construction has been very helpful. Not only did they patiently listen to my concerns but were very timely in getting questions answered a process for moving forward, as well as working with me to make it all happen.

I'm hoping that you, the BBB, will now kindly do as I have requested and remove this complaint from their history.

      Sincerely,

I paid for BATTERY BACK UP for my solar system and it was NEVER installed. The company refuses to send me a copy of my Home Improvement Agreement/Contract (HIA/HIC) because on the contract it states my solar system is supposed to come with battery backup. I paid them for 3 Enphase batteries with BATTERY BACK UP but the never installed the backup. The company Demand Construction/Nation Energy was funded for ********* for my project and is saying they will not install the battery backup I aid for and is on the contract. I need this installed immediately. I have text messages and emails that show I gave the company plenty of time and opportunity to do the right thing. They kept stringing me along and have not deliver what is on the contract. They need to get the battery back up installed ASAP.I got installed in January of 2024 and it took over 7+ months to get the system activated. I was billed for 4 months of solar payments in the amount of $725 a month and need to be reimbursed $2900.00 for the 4 months the system was not activated. I need to be reimbursed ASAP.

A couple of months ago I bought solar panels from this company. I obtained a bank loan to pay for the panels. It's been several months and they haven't finished installing the solar system. I am paying the monthly payments from the bank without having the system working. no one answers us. Nobody answers us. We send messages to the person who contacted us to sell us the solar panel system (*****) tells us that he lacked authorizations. When I verified that everything was authorized, he did not know what to answer. I need help to finish the job or be responsible for paying the bank loan for the time that the job is not finished
