Contacted Custom Vehicle Wraps (CVW) based on the phone number on their website in Nov 2023. Gave him my history with CVW wrap on my food truck 10 years ago. Asked for the owner whom i dealt with before and was told he stepped out. Told them I wanted a wrap and estimate was given. Dropped off my truck at the local facility listed on CVW site. 03/06/23 was met by owner and two other men at the site. Owner personally peeled back some of the wrap with a heat torch and gave me an estimate of 1 week. He also had keys to the facility and opened it. At that point, a person from ****SF picked up all correspondence. When I received the estimate, it had both the ****SF and Custom Vehicle Wraps logo at the top. I assumed they were employees of CVW as I was never officially told that the install was being handed over to them. Also, the install location used was on CVW website and not on ****SF. Truck was ready for pickup on 3/22/23. Looked good and payment of balance due made. Again both company logos on the bill. Within 2 months the wrap began unpeeling and bubbling on the passenger door. I Emailed pics and was told it was an easy fix. But no action was taken, and I was told I had not sent pics which was false. I called the owner of CVW to lodge my complaint, but he consistently told me he had nothing to do with it and to work with ****SF. He also assured me it would be taken care of. Still no action so I got owner of CVW to personally inspect the work and to document it with pics and video. His observation was that the vinyl was not high quality, the install was not done properly and an entire rewrap was deemed necessary. I asked him to provide all the media he took to ****SF the next day when they met. He said he would but never acknowledged he did. Initially, I asked for a full refund which was refused. I then asked for the vinyl only so I could take it elsewhere. They did not accept. This is clearly a breach of contract and deceptive business practices.
