This school engages in unethical practices such as overcharging tuition fees and providing false promises of exam placement after graduation. The frustration with the quality of education and the unethical practices observed at this institution was disappointing. In 2022 I paid $1,000 down payment and was told to make $200 payments a month. The program tuition was $2700 which is illegal. It should not go past $2500. As an apprentice, turns out paying booth rent is illegal. I paid $650 a month thinking this program was an investment on my education. I was suppose to be getting a check from Womacks for cutting and washing hair for all the homeless people. I did it for free for OVER 3200 hours. The instructors fail to provide comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge, leaving me ill-equipped to meet the demands of passing the state-board exam. The inadequate facility and outdated equipment at Womacks academy hinder the practical learning experience. We were forced to work with tools and products past their prime. This negligence not only compromised my education but put my safety at risk when there are water leaks and rats. ******** academy had me pay their fine from stateboard for $50. They also submitted my paperwork to who **** said was "stateboard" and I paid $125. They rejected it because she put down I was 1450 hours short. NOT TRUE! I urge the BBB to take immediate action to rectify the issues plaguing Womacks academy. This should include thorough review and improvement of their curriculum, hiring a qualified instructor and upgrading the facility and equipment, ensuring transparent and fair practices regarding tuition fees and job placement.I am hopeful that you will take this complaint seriously and prioritize this. If these issues are not addressed I am prepared to take further action to expose the unethical practices and poor quality education at Womacks Academy. I will not hesitate to share my experiences
