      I ordered a gift from The Wok Shop, and it never arrived to the recipient. I emailed the shop 3 times over the course of several weeks, and got no response. I eventually called the shop and the person who answered was extremely rude, belittling and barely let me speak. When I said that I had simply become concerned because it had been more than a month since the order was placed, and then received no responses to my emails, she cut me off, began mocking me, mocking the South (where I live), then said she is cancelling my order and hung up on me. I had not asked for my order to be cancelled and was very confused. I called back a few minutes later, and the same person answered, though pretended it wasn't her. I went along with it and explained the call I had just had, and that I was confused. She said that sometimes people have other things going on in their lives that make them act a certain way, and cause them to be rude, but we just have to let it go and go on with our days. She then left me on hold for a very long time while I could hear them speaking in the background, then hung up on me. So I called back again and again she pretended it was yet another person, eventually confirmed my order was cancelled, and said some other bizarre, rude things, then hung up on me.

      Transaction Date: 2/11/2023 Transaction amount charged to my **** card: $87.20 ($70 for a 14" Carbon Steel flat bottom wok 5 piece set & $17.20 for tax and shipping fee).Purchased from their website.To be sent to my son for his birthday: *******************, **********************************************I never received an order number, tracking number etc.I have tried numerous times to call both the toll free number and landline during their published business hours. The phone continues to ring and there isn't an option to leave a voicemail. I finally emailed the business on 3/20/2023 and haven't received a response either. At this point, I would just like a refund. This business shouldn't offer ordering from their website if they aren't going to follow through.

      I ordered 1 "The Hakka Cookbook: Chinese Soul Food from Around the World by *****************" on Feb 5 for $47.95 incl shipping. The book hadn't arrived after 15 days. so I called last Sunday Feb 19 to track my order. I was told by a feisty individual that there were no Hakka cookbooks at Wok shop and that I should go to Amazon to buy it. In the same breath he asked if I wanted a refund which I said yes to before he hung up abruptly thereafter. I guess I will have to continue to call them until they do return my money. Of course I cancelled my order and still haven't seen a refund yet. So after almost 2 weeks later I had to call to find out that I should pursue another route. This business is very slack in their dealings with customers.

      I paid this company $ ***** on January 10, 2023. I received an order receipt. It has now been almost one month. I have sent a follow-up email and called. There is no responsiveness - this is a fair amount of money, and this is unacceptable - they also charge $22.95 for shipping; at that price point, there should be a minimum of communication.

      I bought an item, they sent me an email regarding the details of the order on 12-19-2022. I have not received any more updates, nor have I received the item. I gave them all the information required to finish the purchase, including manually inputting my credit card information. Im afraid they may be using my information for something else.

      On Dec 7th, 2022 order from The Wok Shop on **************************** (between ******************************************************************************* the following items: 10" Wooden Handle Carbon Steel Wok, Made-*** - Flat $35.00 and ********* Brand Rice Cooker / Steamer - Sanyo / 5 Cup $59.95 which was a total of $118.80. The Wok Shop has charged my credit card but has never sent me the purchased items. I have tried several times to contact them at the number posted on their web site: www.wokshop.com contact number ************ and ************ the calls are never answered. I have also sent them emails requesting an update of my order for delivery sent email to ***************************************** I would like a full refund

      I ordered a ******* on December 3 2022 for $13.95 as listed on their website at the time and in which i have a receipt for proof. The total with tax and shipping was $23.67. When i noticed the item hasn't been shipped, i called them December 14 and a person name *** or Tane picked up the phone and informed them my item hasn't shipped. The person on the other line looked up my order and apologized and said it will be shipped in two days. She also said that the price I paid wasn't the right price and it was too low. I told her it was listed on their site so she homered $13.95. On 12/16, i noticed a credit was issued on my card for $23.67 and charged for $30.07. I called them back and explained to them that I wasn't informed of any price changes and the previous lady honored the original price. She started berating me telling me to return the product which I told her i didn't care about the price, its the principle. She denied everything I said and treated me as though I was wrong. I told her as a business owner she should do her due diligence to protect her business from loss. She continued telling me they don't cheat, they got a congressional seal from *********************** etc etc....This business should not be allowed to continue to falsely advertise their products and deceive customers.
