******* Valley Unified School District experienced an unfortunate series of events with the administration in the early part of 2023 and the Superintendent was removed from his position. I was hired as the new Superintendent effective July 1 and have been working to clean up the issues that were not attended to since the leadership position was vacated. The District's account with ********************** automatically renewed during the lack of leadership time period. As soon as I was made aware of the situation in early August, I attempted to speak with any agent of the company by phone on 8 occasions with no success. The District cannot afford to renew the contract. There is no listed phone number on their website or email signatures and they would not provide one for me. They "attempted" to resolve the problem in an unsatisfactory way and have not made themselves available to speak with me about it.Attached is a timeline of the communications between Remind101 and the District, the invoice (#****-125679), and details about our extenuating circumstances as communicated to Remind101.Initial Complaint

I was notified on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 that my account with Remind.com had been deactivated. No explanation was given. Immediately I e-mailed them to find out why my account had been deactivated and they responded that they would be responding to me as soon as possible. No response was given. Then I got onto their chat line to talk about why my account had been deactivated. He said he was unable to answer that question. I then waited for another day until I got an email stating that I had several no-shows on my account. I asked them to call me and they said they had no phone to contact me. Their reason for closing my account is not true since I had met with all of these students when they had arranged to meet with me. They each had cancelled their meeting times with me saying they had other events like basketball games to go to. So to say that I had a no show or cancelled them is untrue. They are lying. I have proof that the students asked to cancel from the e-mails they sent to me from Remind. I am asking Remind to reinstate my account since they had deactivated the account on the basis of an untrue situation. They are unwilling to talk with me or discuss it with me. Instead they have simply closed my account with them. It is not right and I expect better treatment from someone dealing with tutoring kids and establishing a relationship with them in a positive matter.
