I had a coupon code to purchase a 3ct vintage solitaire ring from this retailer. I ended up spending $49.81 with shipping from this retailer that guaranteed that the item would arrive 4-7 days after the order was placed. When that time frame was about to be passed, I reached out (ordered 1/7, reached out the first time on 1/13) to inquire about the order status. They responded, Your order is being processed and will be shipped shortly. When it is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation along with tracking information. i recieved no further i formation and asked what shortly meant on 1/17. I never recieved a response or the item shipped from the company. I then sent another email on 1/20 saying that I needed an eta or the item within a couple of business days or I would reach out to my bank to report that they had taken payment without delivering the goods. They responded today with tracking info. That tracking info was for something shipped directly from amazon that comes from a shop that retails the ring for $22.99. I reached out to amazon because it was a gift ordered on 1/10 from someone who I didnt know that was delivered on that day. I sent a message to modern merch to have them confirm that they are the ones who sent me something from amazon that was not the equivalent price.
