Billed as an "appointment" when it was only a phone call to get results back from a test. Insurance did not cover it (obviously) as it wasn't an appointment and never have, I been billed for getting my test results. Have asked for detailed billing statements to be sent to my home address and still have not received. Company will not make an adjustment to the charges that I am disputing.

I visited the Instant Urgent Care **************** location on August 21st, 2023. I was billed $160 and I paid the balance in full on November 27th, 2023 through InstaMed (payment provider by my primary insurance Cigna). However, Instant Urgent Care started to send me monthly statement notification saying that I still owns the $160 to them from November 30th, 2023. I contacted InstaMed on January 5th and obtained the detailed payment and deposit information they made to Instant Urgent Care. I also reached out to the Instant Urgent Care billing department on January 5th, January 12th, and January 22nd in an attempt to resolve this billing issue. I provided the payment receipt and detailed information from InstaMed in every attempt. However, Instant Urgent Care continues to send me statement notification and even started mailing paper statement to my house.I want Instant Urgent Care to properly record and adjust my statement balance to reflect my payment and stop sending me notification asking for money immediately

I am writing to formally complain about our experience at Instant Urgent Care on February 20th. My wife, *************, and I had a Green **** immigration medical examination, which left us highly dissatisfied.Firstly, We had significant problems with slow processing times necessitating constant reminders. Their negligence led to us receiving a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) from immigration authorities, forcing us to incur extra expenses to redo our Green **** medical examination elsewhere during the insurance coverage period. The main issue was their misleading information regarding the acceptance of our ****** insurance for required vaccinations. Despite multiple confirmations, they assured us our insurance would cover the vaccinations. On March 8th, when we went to Instant Urgent Care for the vaccinations, we once again confirmed with the staff that our ****** insurance was accepted. However, we received a bill for the full amount later. Upon discovering this, we contacted ******** insurance department, who confirmed they had no agreement with Instant Urgent Care. ****** advised us to inform Instant Urgent Care that we initiated a dispute to prevent them from demanding payment. In an April 21st call to Instant Urgent Care's billing department, we explained the dispute with ******. They insisted our insurance covered the expenses, but we kept receiving bills, causing stress. Online reviews also indicated billing department disorganization at Instant Urgent Care.We are deeply dissatisfied with this situation, especially considering that we could have received these vaccinations at ****** without incurring any additional costs. We firmly believe that Instant Urgent Care's false representation regarding insurance coverage is unacceptable. We are seeking your assistance in investigating this matter thoroughly and compelling Instant Urgent Care to rectify the situation promptly.Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

In the month of January 2021, I inquired about a rapid Covid-19 test with Instant Urgent Care in San Jose, Ca. The Urgent Care did a formal intake on my personal information that included pictures of my CA Drivers License, Social Security, Debit/Credit card, and copies of my health insurance policy. This intake was designed by the Urgent Care to confirm my health insurance eligibility in order to receive a rapid Covid-19 test. After the confirmation of my eligibility was complete, the Urgent Care proceeded to schedule my Covid-19 rapid test appointment. Five months after receiving my rapid test, I received a notice in the mail from a debt collector, only to find out that Instant Urgent Care mishandled the billing of my service. Now Instant Urgent Care will not respond to phone calls or emails so that I can understand where the discrepancy occurred.
