Hired Mrs E****** in Jan 2022 for mediation for separation or marital assets and divorce. She constantly forgot paperwork (had to resend documents 3 times to her because she misplaced them), was consistently late delivering documents on time (usually by weeks), and finally decided she did not want to file our case even though all the mediation was done. She promised a full refund AND all the documents she had prepared up to the time she dropped off our case. I have received my refund, however, she promised to have our documents to us two weeks ago and have still not received them. We need the documents to finalize our case. I have stated to her we need these documents asap, yet she continues to stall and provide excuses.

I have refunded the full retainer and provided copies of everything filed with the Court. I also provided a copy of the Court receipt of $453.20 of a cost related to their file, a cost borne by my office because I returned all of their money to them.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 17503764, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I am mostly satisfied with the business’s response, although it took much longer than necessary to email the few documents she actually completed.
I must add that we were under the assumption that much more had been completed, such as a draft of our final mediation agreement that was to be filed with the court.
She gave us the impression that much more had been done and that everything was almost complete. It clearly wasn’t. All that had been actually been done since January 2022 was submitting the initial petition and summons.
