Grow Credit recently reported to the credit bureaus that I had a late payment - hurting my credit by 35 points! The issue is that I did not fail to make payments. Their system which is set to auto debit would fail to debit. Occasionally error emails would come but on the consumer side inside of the app everything would show paid or scheduled to bill in the upcoming statement and nothing for the customer to take action on. Apparently the issue is the apps communication with banking software and the errors or path to fix would not work in the app. I have not missed any payments by my error and I demand they correct the credit reports.

9 days ago I attempted to make a payment on my account to bring the account current. I received an error message several times and finally reached out to customer service via email for assistance. After updating my address the issue was still not resolved so I asked what other ways could I submit my payment. I was advised to allow an ACH transfer. I agreed to this only to receive an email this morning 7/1/2024 at 6 AM EST that my account had been placed for charge-off. I was a little confused due to my previous conversations with previous agents from Grow Credit no one mentioned that my account was at risk of being placed in a charge-off status. When I inquired about this today 7/1/2024 another representative told me there was nothing they could do once the account has been placed as a charge-off that was it and I would need to send a money order or cashier's check. This made me a little upset because these payment options were not provided as a payment option 9 days ago when I experienced issues and continued to have issues all the way up until now. I am requesting that the company not report this account as a charge-off as there has been previous attempts to pay the balance in full prior to the account reaching this status. I have email threads with different customer service representatives showing my efforts to bring the account current.

They closed this account under a charge off with a loss of *****. Per my attachments, I requested to close this account because it wasnt needed and pressured multiple times to leave it open. I was told that it couldnt be closed until the balance of ***** was paid. Per the screenshot attached it was indeed paid off but was still charged off as a loss. I want this corrected. The account closure was processed on the Feb 19th per the screenshots however the shady remarks were added to my credit report between the Feb 20th and the 23rd which Im assuming is retaliation for the closure since the remarks were added just a couple of days after I requested the closure. I want this corrected along all credit bureaus.

I signed up for grow credit in march of 2022. I thought it would help me build credit in a simple way. Boy was I wrong. Not only did they not make a report of a single positive thing I did such as 20 on time payments in a row, but they un-linked my bank account and then claimed I wasnt paying my Amazon bill on time. Obviously I have proof against this. Needless to say I went from having a mediocre 621 credit score all the way down to 545 despite never missing a single payment. Stay away. Stay far away, at this point I will need to hire a lawyer to clean up the mess they made and they will not do a single good thing for your credit. Just dont do it.

I used grow credit service for over a year. Never had a single positive report or anything from them on my credit. Even though They removed funds every month. I didnt realize it until a billing glitch do to their system . So they couldnt charge my card anymore. I then just told them to cancel my subscription and told them they have done nothing. I was going to leave it at that . Thats when they made the mistake of refusing to acknowledge all the documentation proving my side. All they cared about was I owed them another ***** because they supposedly paid a subscription for me. Only , They actually didnt pay it. I paid it through my other account automatically. Which I also proved. So I refused to pay them. They responded by reporting a delinquency to my credit report. So the only report I have from them is 90 days delinquent on my report. I sent In a check paying it as advised by my attorney, to stop the negative credit reports They are 100% fraudulent. I am currently disputing all moneys I paid into their fraud system. I am surprised they are still in business.

Earlier this year I believe or sometime last year maybe, In hopes to repair my credit, I was told about Grow Credit app. I decided to give them a look, liked what they offered and decided to seek their assistance. I was offered an acceptable plan and was, so I thought, ready to get my credit back on track. That was until I had another in a series of financial misshaps occur that involved a payment taking the funds meant for Grow from the account on file before they could. Having to deal with that and much more, I went to deal with other priorities and came back to Grow later, no longer using the account that they have on file, wanting to switch to a new more permanent account. Yesterday I was told that because they were unable to get the first set of funds an account for me was never opened. At the same time though, they don't seem to have to ability to remove the linked account, nor can they remove me from their system all together, I'm not authorized to remove my information, and so I have my personal information accessible to this company and can't use their services. This company has major issue and I really really hope people stay clear of them. Lets start from the beginning My first issue occurred in Spring 2022. The company uses some kind of software that reads your account balance. If the account balance is "low" they will not process the payment. They use ending day balances and not current available balance. So on payment dates, if the posted ending balance from the night before is lower than what you need to pay they will not process the payment. Then when you go to manually for it you get an unknown error. This went on from March to April to May and into June. I reached out to them a number of times and they assign the blame to you. They say oh your account is too low, when I just made a deposit to cover that and some. Then after weeks of trying I reached out again and was told oh there was a system issue you need to use PayPal. Okay paid it. then they marked the account as 30 days. I reached out a number of times trying to pay and you never helped. Then they reward me with a onetime courtesy to reverse the report on my credit that was their issue to begin with. Next complaint a payment was made for one of my service providers. The service provider posted it to another account that was not mine. The service provider told me I needed to file a dispute since the account it posted is not mine. I reached out to them and get oh we don't do refunds. I'm not asking for a refund I'm asking for you to dispute it so vendor will give me my money back. At the end of the day that $100 is not worth it. Just pure social media will do. I'm going to make sure every one one knows.
