I had my parking ticket validated earlier on 10/14 at Trader Joes (*****************************) within the allowed timeframe for free parking. It is free parking for up to 1 hour per the signage, and I attempted to exit the parking lot within ~40 minutes. However, it prompted me to pay $5 in order to exit. I called the "help" button on the box and the operator said there was nothing she can do to void the charge in that moment. The security guard on premise did not assist so I had no choice but to pay in order to exit the parking lot. I have reached out to DK Broadway LLC but they have disconnected both of their phone lines. I have gotten 2 different email contacts from The Park (all of which are asking me to contact DK in order to get a refund and they cannot help me) Charging customers for this is fraud - deception with the signage communicated, and then disconnecting lines, and no one to help when I have tried multiple avenues to contact them.Business response
