I got a 2022 ************ with a maintenance warning on the dashboard a day after I got this rental car due to an accident I had. I spoke to *********** (all over text) he said to send him a picture of the dashboard, I did. *********** said he'd notify the dealership, however nothing ever got done. Thankfully i had no problems with the car the 24 days I drove it with the warning on the dashboard. I got this rental due to an accident I had and needed a rental. When I got the car *********** asked for **** deposit and I asked, why? Auto Insurance is covering it ... (mind you I work for Auto insurance so I am well experienced & aware of coverages how they work.) Anyhow, *********** goes on saying the deposit is only for "parking tickets, etc... has nothing to do with the car rental payment". So I go ahead and give him my***** information he charges the ***** Then 24 days later I return the car, over a week goes by and I still have no deposit back on my card. So I reach out to him and he tells me that I wont have my deposit it back until he gets payment from ******* for the rental payment. So at this point I am upset because that is not what he originally told me "via text" so I took a screenshot from when he originally told me via text and sent it to him. I also added I expect my deposit by tomorrow no later. He left me on "read". I know **** is not a lot but it's the principal and the fact of deceiving people is what i have a problem with. Today is *********** and I have yet to receive my deposit credit refunded back to me. He's been ******** my ****** leaving them on "read".
