      I bought a new 2023 Hyundai Palisade in October 2022. Approximately 3 weeks later after the purchase, we took the vehicle to get a car wash. During the wash one of the brackets to the luggage rack came off and hit the bottom of the windshield. After a couple of weeks we noticed a crack started. It was initially hidden because it was located along the bottom dark tinted area.We asked the dealership to replace the windshield at their expense because we felt it was a factory defect, i.e., the Hyundai factory should have caught the defect during their quality assurance and control process after production. They refused to cover the cost (vehicle had approximately ***** miles) because they felt it was the customer's responsibility to report defects after purchase and before damages occur. The cost of repair was $3,600 of which our insurance deductable was $1,000 which we had to pay.The Hyundai dealership in Stockton should have paid for damages to the windshield because it was a the factory defect and that should not fall in the customer's responsibility. I also like to point out that prior to driving the vehicle out after purchase, their employees detailed/washed the vehicle, they should have noticed the bracket to the luggage rack was loose prior to releasing the vehicle to us.

      I had been communicating with Stockton Hyundai for several weeks about test driving an electric Ioniq 5. I was interested in potentially purchasing one but need to test drive one in order to decide if that is the right car for me. They are limited in number so I had been waiting and made my intentions clear that I wanted to test drive and would be purchasing in July if I decided to go forward. On 6/1/22, I was told they had one come in and it would probably be ready to test drive that afternoon. I was told to speak with the sales manager, *****, when I arrived. To be noted, I live 45 minutes away. When I arrived, ***** greeted me and told me to come inside as I had to agree on numbers (aka a purchase agreement) before I could test drive the car. This is not what I was told during multiple text conversations with the sales team. To have a purchase agreement before a test drive is NOT A TEST DRIVE! This is dishonest, deceptive and unethical sales practice. ***** had no regard for my time coming or for how I was dishonestly treated. And he did not offer me a test drive unless I was committed to buying the car. My experience at this dealership tells me to stay away from them as their sales practices lack integrity and proper customer service. I will not be purchasing a car from them nor will I be purchasing a Hyundai car. There are others to choose from. And to note, Tesla, on the same street has test drives without a problem and you can even schedule one yourself online.

      False advertisement. For this vehicle, ***************** The website shows a "lease offer of $259/month." when you fill out the application it changes to $532/month.I don't trust this dealer.
