We purchased a automobile from Swickard Cadillac of Thousand Oaks on December 30, 2023 as a cash transaction. We overpaid 5% on sales tax. Our contract shows we owed $24,495.81. We forwarded them a certified check in the amount of $24,605.40. At the time, the finance department agent acknowledged the overpayment and said we would be refunded by their corporate office. We were told we would receive the difference of $109.59. We have reached out to them on numerous occasions about our refund, to this date they have ignored our pleas. It has been almost 3 months and we can't get them to respond to our requests for refund of overpayment. We ask you to help us get our money back.Initial Complaint

Poor customer service from this dealership in every aspect, from sales to service. Months ago when I was looking for a vehicle I had 0 chance I was told unless I was willing to pay a $10,000 premium for a vehicle from them because they were taking advantage of the situation of a shortage of vehicles so the mark-up over MSRP started at $10,000 over. Now that I have my vehicle anytime I call for service I get a run around. I have been told three times already that I need to wait for a call back from a certain service representative and its been a total of 2 weeks that I have been waiting. Now finally I get someone on the line other than the operator and when I ask to speak to the service manager so I can voice my concerns over what is going on at their dealership I get put on hold currently at a 14 minute hold time and still going. Not a single person has come back to check to make sure that I am still on the line or update me on what I am waiting so long for. My car is in need of service and instead of being able to go to my local dealership with ease I end up having to call back numerous times still with no one at all able to help me and now just to sit on hold for who knows how long.Business response
