I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding a significant issue I have encountered with my 2018 Honda Accord Touring. Recently, I experienced a problem with the light unit blowing out due to condensation. This cost of the repair I was quoted was $1600.00, which I find unreasonable considering the vehicle's age and the expected durability of this component. When I purchased the Honda Accord Touring, I was assured of the vehicle's reliability and quality. Additionally, the dealership indicated that components such as the light unit should last at least 10 years under normal conditions. However, this has not been my experience, as the light unit failed prematurely, leading to a costly and unexpected repair. When communicating this concern with ****** at Honda ************* she refused to address my concerns and advised me to contact the dealership directly. I have purchased five Honda accords, and this will be my last.

I called Honda Finance to get clarity on a payoff. Because previously on 08/03 I was given a certain amount that was due on that day. The analysts I spoke with told me I owed the 611. Then when I called back on 08/24 I owed an additional 170. I spoke with a gentlemen on 09/04 he said it wasnt interest. That the previous analyst quoted me wrong and to email them the screenshot I had of the website showing the total. I called back because it was taking too long to hold for customer service. I got ******* ( ****** ***** location ). I started off with saying I keep getting different quotes Im just trying to get a sup to review my account and call me back NOT be transferred immediately. For one she was just rude and constantly over talking me. For two I ended up staying on the phone explaining the whole issue again when thats not what I called for. She then proceeds to tell me she cant send my account to be reviewed because she can help me. I told her well you arent helping me. The whole reason Im calling is Im getting different answers about my payoff abt whats owed earlier this month. Yall just did it again today. You and the prev male analyst from today said two different things. I just got off the phone with another analyst 5 mins ago and he said it wasnt interest and now you are saying it is which is exactly why I wanted it reviewed by a supervisor. She proceeds to tell me I need a to give her a reason to speak to a supervisor. So I asked her what is their policy on handling customer complaints I dont have to justify my reason for wanting a supervisor review when Ive already told you why. So she refused to transfer my complaint up. She had way too much attitude for something I wasnt even calling to get into the issue I had with her. Then she says why do you want to talk to them because you arent going to pay it ? Excuse me ? No but I dont have to explain that to you !

Honda dealership agent **** ***** said my lease turn in fee would be waived when the vehicle I turned in was sold. Due to my turning it in before the lease ended, very low mileage, and excellent condition, it was sold immediately.I was surprised when Honda Financial Services contacted me and said they were sending my account to collections and reported to credit bureaus if I did not pay the turn in fee. When I shared with them that Honda/**** said the fee would be waived, they said Honda dealership was a separate company and the fee would not be waived.I want the turn in fee removed and to be reimbursed for the $21 bridge tolls I paid because Honda did not remove me as the lessee until after the vehicle was sold. To us (consumers) there is no difference between Honda and Honda Financial. Honda is Honda and one of their employees said the fee would be waived. Please see the attached email communication with the employee and help me get the fee waived.Thank you,******* *******

In May of 2024 I, ********* Campos ****** received a letter by mail stating that my car (a 2007 Honda CRV-V, had an urgent safety recall. In this letter, it was said that the Honda dealer would perform the service for free, and if the rear frame of the car could not be repaired Honda would repurchase it. On June 11th we took the car to the Honda dealership ( classic Honda) in ***************. There they stated that the repair could not been done and they said that the car was unsafe to drive.Since that day, my wife and I have been trying to solve this problem with American Honda. We have contacted them many times and after a number back and forth calls and emails with the dealership and American Honda ,finally on July 29th we scheduled an appointment at the dealership in ******* so they could inspect the car again; take some pictures, and send them to the Tech Line of American Honda. Since then, we have been in touch with American Honda through calls almost every week and they also stated that I shouldnt be driving this car. Unfortunately, there have been no updates , and they dont seem to understand how important is to have this issue solved. My wife and I share this car, yet we are constantly risking our health driving it as Honda has not purchased the car back as they said they would in the corporate letter they provided regarding the recall if it could not be serviced and have not provided a temporary vehicle either. We are risking our lives every time we drive. It is now September 2nd, and Honda has yet to remedy this situation.

      Complaint: 22230588

I am rejecting this response because: This letter did not solve my issue. I did not purchase or finance the car as the letter stated. Looks like there might have been a misunderstanding. I bought the car from my grandfather and I had gotten the letter for the recall. Its been 2-3 months since Honda has replied back to us. The recall states that they would re- purchase the car if they couldnt fix it (which they couldnt). The car is dangerous to drive stated by the Honda technician and multiple representatives at American Honda. The case number for the recall is ********. I hope they will be able to solve this issue and find the information needed. Driving this car is risking my life and the life of others on the road. The trailing arm can fall off due to the rust and can cause injury to myself, my family, and other families on the road. This is the only vehicle I have and I hope Honda can help solve this issue for the safety of everybody. I have attached the recall letter and the notes from the technician once again. The case number is ********. Thank you and God bless.

      Sincerely,

Hi. My name is ******************************************** and I am reaching out for some assistance. My husband and I have two vehicles financed with HFS. I hated to go this route because Honda has been good to us during our times of need. They have allowed us to get caught up and went out of their way to assist us. I am reaching out because I have been unable to reach them on the phone. We were recently affected by Hurricane ***** as we are transitioning to ******** GA to help take care of my in-laws. We have been down there for the last 6 months, but come home occasionally to check in. We are needing assistance with our options for this disaster. We were in an area that was flooded and we had to transition to another area which in turn had us get behind. If someone could please reach out to assist us with the options that we have we would greatly appreciate it. It is difficult to get someone on the phone and/or the hold times are long and we are not able to stay on hold that long. Looking forward to some assistance. Thank you.
