Enrollment Date: 03/2022 Course cost: $396.00 I would like to start this complaint by stating that I have contacted the owner ***************** on numerous occasions to try to resolve this issue. I signed up to complete real estate pre-licensing courses with Approved RE Academy. I made my decision in part because they offer in person and zoom classes in addition to on-line. Their website is a bit outdated but *** more than makes up for the website shortcomings with this jolly personality and engaging classes. I did enjoy taking his courses. However, on multiple occasions during class *** mentioned that he was having issues with the website and the completion certificates may need to be manually corrected. He reassured us that it was a minor issue and it would be no problem for him to get the corrected certificates out promptly. I had no reason to anticipate the certificate would become an issue and the basis for my complaint. I downloaded the first certificate and it look correct so I did not think to check the additional certificates. I was about to upload the certificates as part of the licensing application when I noticed some of the certificates were missing the required information. I immediately contacted *** via e-mail and asked for the correction. Two - three days went by and no response. I sent another email and this time I cc his assistant; still no response. I called him and spoke to him. He asked me to send him another email so still believing this will be quickly resolve d. Long story short, I have sent 8 emails, 6 text and 7 phone calls. He actually answered the phone a couple of times and promised to resolve the issue. One time he misled me into believing he was actually working on the issue at that exact moment. Misleading a customer to get them off the phone, that is shameful. I demand the certificates and a full refund in consideration for the time spent chasing ***************** to get him to do the right thing.
