This business is a scam. I was told that once the 4 monthly payments was taken out of my account that I would not owe my student loan. Not only is the loan still there they made it look like I got 2 loans. I want my money back or I will file legal action.Review from Fior V

Student Prep Center are scammers! I paid $399.50 on March 29,2021. Then I paid another $399.50 for my second draft on April 12, 2021. And I paid $39.00 on my third draft payment to Student prep center aka cornerstone prep center. Total fees $799.00. I have tried every week since April of 2022 to contact this company, but there's no way of contacting them. I want my money back so bad I knew in my heart these con artists are stealing from hard working U.S. citizens. Please spread the word about this crappy axx company!!!Student Prep Center Response

Hello *****, You are mistaken us for another company. Our company has rendered services already to you. In addition we never charged your installments of $399.50 the installments to us were different. In addition we have no affiliation whatsoever with CornerStone Prep Center, if you are having issues with that company please reach out to them. At this time and as previously stated in another review you wrote to us there is nothing else that we can do since we have already fulfilled our agreement. Student Prep Center Trash/scammers. My processor was ********************************* out of ****** ** and sent all my paper work and advised it will take a few months to get the notice of my forgiveness and took $780 of my money to only have my loan transferred to another company! I have tried to contact her or Student Prep Center. Not sure I can even get my money back because it's been almost 8 months and the only reason I found out my loan wasn't forgiven is because the new company contacted to to set up and account and my loan was still showing on my credit. I will have my bank hopefully help me with getting my money back.Student Prep Center Response

Please note that the type of loan that you had before coming to our company did not qualify for any types of relieve programs from the ********** of ********** Because of the services our company rendered you are fully enrolled into a program. No this review is not misleading according to my contract I signed which I will upload on page 3, 5a "Company's fees will only be earned after client is approved for a program through DOE, Servicer or ****************** If client is not approved for a program, Company will reimburse 100% of any client's Fees Collected. Also if your company was a creditable company why are all the phone number disconnected and my loan processor will not return any of my calls to get my $780 back?!?!? This is fraud and my ************ will be investigating this matter. I had two student loans and yes one of them was a personal student loan and would have not qualified for any forgiveness. This was NOT the case for my second Federal Student Loan, which after paying this company $780 to do nothing but take my hard earned money and I just found this out on my recent credit report that it was not forgiven but transferred. I tried so many times to email and call the Student Prep center this year to get things resolved. When I call I only get a voice-mail from them. The email they gave me is inactive. I truly believe Student prep center is a scam!!! Charged me $180 for months and I guarantee their going to write a reply stating what I'm writing is false lol. I need answers from Student prep center. I do not want to name the people involved with my matter but I guarantee I will not rest until this company get exposed.Student Prep Center Response

Hello Kevyn, Of course we will respond that we are not a scam in any way shape or form because WE ARE NOT. We did exactly what your client agreement stated, you were also in contact with your assigned processor back in May 05, 2022. You also reached out to our client care line and one of our representatives called you back and left you a Voice mail. We have not heard back from you then. They said on the phone that they canceled my services last year due to lack of communication on my part which is a LIE!! As you read their reply they wrote, " We tried to contact you in May of 2022 and 08/22/2022". All lies!! The lady who answered Cornerstone Doc Prep phone told me their company name is called Student Processing center which is a LIE!! The next agent told me the company name is called Cornerstone. All lies people!! Now they won't give me my funds back smh.Review from Morgan B

I have tried to call SEVERAL TIMES, and now I see that I was really scammed. How do you not have people answering the phones DURING business hours? All I had was questions, but after reading some of these testimonies I realize that I was scammed. I am on a fixed income and I really thought you all were helping me. This is horrible
