I contacted the clinic regarding spay for a feral cat and I ask if I can reschedule the appointment and unipet said since its less than 24 hrs. I have to pay another deposit and since it is less than 24 hrs Im surrendering my previous deposit, and she also said that I was late in calling for just 1 hr. To be in the 24 hr. Appointment reschedule , I feel it is unfair for me since this is a feral cat That we are taking about, I ask to talk to the manager and she just hung up on me,Business response

On Saturday November 13 I called UNI pet clinic and asked what the cost would be for a feline tooth extraction. The receptionist quoted me $481 for the feline dental plus the extraction which "is usually not very much between $75-100." I said great and booked an appointment for Wednesday November 17.UNI pet clinic called me on Monday November 15 at 4:09 PM to confirm the appointment and say it was the last day I could cancel and receive my deposit back and again I asked about the price. They said based on age and weight the feline dental would be $481 and the tooth extraction would run between $40-150.On Wednesday November17 at 9 am I drop off my cat and sign paperwork, again saying the cost for the service will be $481 and I have the option to add some additional services. Only when my cat is already under anesthesia do they call and say they need to add on radiographs which would be $150 which I agree to. They then call back 20 minutes later and say that the cost of the tooth extraction will be $750 and they would like to take an additional tooth out. Only after they already have my cat and a commitment to the $481+$150 do they unethically raise the price from the quoted $40-150 all the way to $750. And for the second tooth they wanted $275.The business made no conciliatoryefforts and claimed it was their policy to not give a price for tooth extractions, despite the fact that I had only gone there only for a tooth extraction and had been quoted a price not once but twice.Business response
