Great company! I needed to get a new roof to get homeowners insurance in one month! **** gave me an estimate right away and scheduled the install. His office staff kept me up to date as milestones were met so I could make payments. The only thing that stopped them was recent rains, but they got back on schedule.

I emailed them in the evening to request an in-person estimate and not only did ************ respond first thing in the morning, but she also followed up with a phone call. On our scheduled day of getting an estimate, ********** arrived promptly. She was extremely thorough in explaining the process of reroofing, the fact that they only use high quality materials, and that she would be communicating with me every step of the way. Her and her entire team did a great job!

We hired Rafael and Iris Roofing to reroof our ****** square foot apartment building roof in August and September of 2023. It was a complicated job because it is mostly a pitched roof but has 9 flat sections full of HVAC units. Since this job was done during hot *********** summer months, we needed tenants to have their HVAC units functioning as much as possible. Before we got started Aviv (the owner) met with us multiple times and went over every detail. **** and his ************************** and ****, planned the entire job in advance so that each tenant would only have their air conditioners disconnected for 1 work day (during which we provided portable ACs to those who needed it). The entire crew was respectful, professional, honest, reliable, and great at communicating with us about everything. The job took about 5 weeks to do and it rained three times during the reroofing, which was entirely unexpected. The crew raced to cover the unfinished roof with plastic even on the two occasions when there had been rain in the forecast at all. **** was very proactive in asking us what tenants had water damages and went to those units and reimbursed them directly for any damages. He hired a painting crew to repaint the ceilings of the few units that had stains from water that had leaked in. **** was very clear about what was included in our roof cost and what we might pay extra for once they had removed the 3 old roofs. He did not rip us off by charging tons for the new wood. In case you are thinking that we must have paid a premium to have such a great experience you are wrong. We got estimates from 8 different companies and Avivs estimate was the second lowest. We did not trust the work of the lowest bidding roofer after going through many details with them. I wish all contractors were as reasonable, thorough, honest, reliable, and dependable as Rafael and Iris Roofing while taking pride in their work. We could not recommend them more highly.

****, the contractor, taught me so much about the roofing business and the way Rafael and Iris Roofing conduct their business. Their crew were so professional, knowledgeable in what my roof needed, and worked in an efficient and timely manner. **** was always available to answer questions that I had from the beginning of the process to the end. Because of **** and Rafael and Iris Roofing, I have a beautiful new roof. I will recommend them to any people who need a roof or any other construction needs. I intend to use Rafael and Iris Roofing for other construction needs in the future. Im glad my research into roofing companies lead me to Rafael and Iris Roofing and ****.

Looking at these other reviews it looks like they are trying to asterisk out names, with uneven success so I guess I won't mention any. I selected R&I for my reroofing project after getting 3 comparable bids and one throwaway. There project manager three asterisks, came to my home and did a very in depth presentation on reroofing and contracting in general in LA. I even trusted her to select the color from among the LA approved offerings.Five asterisks and his crew did a great and quick job protecting my property from demolition, installing the new roof, replacing my skylight, and cleaning up.No price surprises. I paid extra only for an addition fascia replacement of damaged wood and the agreed to price for a few pieces of rotted plywood from the original roof.New roof looks great. No punctured tires in my driveway. Highly recommended .

From the start, the owner, Aviv, was excellent at communicating. He swiftly responded to our queries, addressed our concerns, and sent ** aerial photos documenting the progress. We were worried about how a roofer would work around our solar panels, and Aviv reassured ** and took care of removing and reinstalling them. Hila in the office was great. The crew was competent and considerate. We liked that he was transparent about licensing and insurance, and he clearly laid out the costs, what was covered, and the payment schedule. And our roof looks great!
