I purchased a brand new scooter with a warranty in November 2022. 2 years unlimited miles. After approximately nine months and a little over 1600 miles I started having problems with my scooter. I brought it in for warranty repairs and they immediately wanted to charge me almost $700 to have the valves adjusted saying it was routine maintenance. After arguing with the service advisor and not getting any information regarding a contact at the manufacture of my scooter I decided to reach out to the manufacture directly. I talked to Mike, the warranty representative there, and he said it was ridiculous that they were trying to charge me any money at all and he would be in contact with them. After approximately a month I got a call from the service advisor at Cal Coast and he said they found that the fuel injection bolt was stripped and that they needed to replace it, the fuel injector and the intake. A few days went by they said it was fixed and to come pick it up. I came to pick it up and my scooter was not fixed. I was still having issues with it and I brought it right back. After appx another month and no contact whatsoever or any updates from the dealership (and only having contact with the manufacturer at this point) I learned that Cal coast said they could not fix my scooter, and that there was nothing else they could do for me. They did not honor the warranty on the product they sold and now I’m in limbo and without my daily mode of transportation after more than two monthsInitial Complaint

I made an appointment to have my motorcycle worked on. I dropped it off on the date they gave me. Now it’s been 3 weeks and they still have not even looked at it.Business response

Our manager is going to reach out to customer.
We have had some scheduling problems with an inordinate amount of work and limited staff. In the future we recommend contacting the service manager or the store manager directly.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 16855716, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
