When i first got my solar installation this company sold this solar with a 25 year warranty . Now they are going out of business and leaving me hanging with a loan that they sold twice to a financial institution. They have me loaned for 41 thousand dollars and ***** USD. I was initialy paying TECHCU 146 then they changed it this month to 199USD. Now this month alone I paid the **** 388USD for my electricity and gas bill . Never have i got this high bill even when i was not solar equipped. Now it seems that i have to bring them to court due to failure to honor the contract. This kind of businesses' should never exist in *******. Who ever own this should be penalized for this type of behaviour. *** L *********Review from Richard H

When we were looking to buy Solar for our house I looked at a few companies. My biggest concern was the company would go out of business and we would be left with any potential problems that might arise. I ended up with Sungrade but told the salesman my concern. He assured me they were a top notch company. When my system was designed, I was told that it would produce 104% of my energy needs. My bill dropped from an average of $185/mo down to $12. The $12 I was told was for state taxes that they couldn't do anything about. I was ok with that. But then something happened with my system that it was no longer working effectively. I got an adjusted bill from my power company in July for $1575. I about fell out of my chair. When I confronted Sungrade, they assured me my system was working properly. This was based on them checking my system from their office. If so, then why did I get a bill for $1575 when my system was designed to produce 104% of my usage. It's only my wife and I living in the home as has been the case for almost 15 years now. And we have not changed or added anything to our house that would draw more energy. I have called them at least 15 times to try and get this resolved and they NEVER return my call. This company *****. I have a number of friends who have asked about putting solar on their houses and I can't recommend a company to any of them. I can tell them who NOT to contact or use; Sungrade Solar! They are terrible at getting back to you.
