May of 2022, Big O Tires in ************ installed a used transmission in my 2013 ****** Murano, the counter service rep was named ********. At the time of purchase before installing the part he informed me that the delay on installation was because the companies both have to test the part. When the part was purchased I was told that there was a 12 month or ****** mile warranty and also Big O carried another 12month or ******mile warranty. 2weeks after the part was installed ******** called me to see how the car was running, at that time I informed him that it was fine with the exception that sometimes when taking off it my car shakes. He and I both thought it was due to the pet being newly installed. Now 2 weeks ago I took my car back to Big O because I have no acceleration power to my car, the check engine light was not on and I was able to drive it to the shop. 4 days later ***** informed me that Because the service person that helped you is no longer employed here, we cannot find any paperwork on the car or the service the next day ***** then told me that he didnt have time to be on hold with the company that the part was purchased from to get the terms of the warranty and that he would try later. The very next day he called me to say my car was only under a 3 month warranty. I called the company myself (Quality United Transmission) and found out that after the part was sent an email went to the store requesting signature for the extended warranty and no one from the store (Big O) responded. The email that Quality Trans used for big O was ***************************** Once I found out this information I called BIg Os corporate office and filed a complaint and spoke with ***. After making that initial complaint she advised that someone should be In contact with me within ********************************* then follow up with their Consumer ********************* After do so I still havent heard from the owner Chis or anyone else in that matter.
