On March 2nd 2022 I completed a paid survey via Swagbucks with the topic of a particular TV show. At the end, I was asked if I would be interested in taking part in a future group call on the subject in exchange for £60 credited to my Swagbucks account. I accepted this proposal. On March 29th 2022 a high-up in the ‘Simple Opinions’ company (****las W****) contacted me via email, asking if I would confirm my interest and if I would be available on Tuesday the 5th of April 2022 at 7:30 PM BST. He confirmed I would receive £60 credited to my Swagbucks account in exchange for taking part in this 75 minute group call. I responded via email, with confirmation of my interest and availability to which Mr. W**** responded with a link and a password. This was before answering several questions, agreeing to a ‘Confidentiality Note’ and taking part in a ‘Tech Check’ via ‘MyCroft’ which I passed. Day and date, I joined 10-15 minutes early as they asked and it lasted a bit longer than I was told, over 90 minutes. Afterwards, I reached out via email to Mr. W****, asking when I would receive this payment to my SwagBucks account. He assured me it would be processed early the following week (beginning Monday the 11th of April 2022) and that I would actually be receiving £70 in equivalent ‘Swagbucks’ credited to my Swagbucks account (approximately 9000 Swagbucks) that very week. This extra £10 was supposedly due to the group call running beyond the 75 minute mark, despite being told it would not go on for longer than this. That week has came and went and not a single member of the ‘Simple Opinions’ team has replied to my emails on this matter, including my initial correspondent, ******* W**** (****@simpleopinions.com). I have NOT received any payment into my Swagbucks account from Simple Opinions. This is incredibly disheartening and I must presume this was a scam if there is no resolution in sight.Business response

Swagbucks has paid Mr. M**** for his services. If there are any additional concerns, please have Mr. M**** contact Swagbucks directly.
