Hired this company to make plans for an addition to our home. He came out on 4/12/22 where we paid $1,150 to start the process. $650 was due on design approval, $500 balance on delivery of approved plans. We still don't have approved plans and it's going on 2yrs in April. After speaking with the designer multiple time he would tell me i have to pay additional things. $2,200 for the engineer, $810.45 for the plan and check fees, which i found out from the designer that i didn't have to pay it unless i wanted him to do it. Since i already had paid i told him sure if they can do it. He stated he has someone that does it all the time so i don't waste my time being at the city. I paid his fee because he continued to ask me for the balance even though we never got approved plans. the plans he did provide me to see i had to print out on my own to see them but i should have approved plans from the city. I have to reach out to him constantly about where we are with the approved plans and he made a mistake with the square footage and had to resubmit the plans again, which was in Oct of 2023. I understand the city can take a long time but 2yrs! i also didn't have any follow up from the company that i hired to help me. I feel like they took advantage of the whole "Covid" aspect of things being delayed. I just want my money back for everything i have paid for.Initial Complaint

I contacted this business to draw and deliver approved plans for a garage conversion on may 2022 however the person that is suppossed to do the work has completed the work to this date. I called him to small claims court but he is not at the address provided. He has been paid an amount of ******************************************************************************************* about 60 days.
