I am writing to file a formal complaint against "24 Hour Lockout" for their unethical business practices, including deception, unauthorized sharing of personal information, and extortionate pricing. On 12/5, I contacted 24 Hour Lockout to request a quote for a vehicle lockout service. During the call, I encountered issues with their basic address lookup capabilities and expressed my intention to seek service elsewhere. Despite this clear communication, 24 Hour Lockout proceeded to share my personal information with an independent locksmith without my consent.Subsequently, this locksmith contacted me under false pretenses, pretending to be affiliated with "Pop A Lock," the service provider I had decided to use. He performed the lockout service without my authorization and then demanded an exorbitant fee of $250, far exceeding the standard rate for such services. When I contested this amount, he disclosed that he was not associated with Pop A Lock but was sent by 24 Hour Lockout. I adamantly refused to pay the inflated price, and after much dispute, I was coerced into settling the payment at $85, which was still significantly higher than the agreed price with my chosen provider. The person requested payment via cashapp. Upon contacting 24 Hour Lockout to address this issue, they dismissed my concerns, stating that I had paid a "fair price" and refused to acknowledge the unauthorized use and disclosure of my personal information, or the fact that they dispatched a service that I explicitly declined. This response is unacceptable and highlights a severe lack of business ethics and customer care. This experience has not only caused me financial loss but also significant stress and inconvenience. The actions of 24 Hour Lockout demonstrate a blatant disregard for customer rights and privacy. I urge the ******************** to investigate this matter and hold 24 Hour Lockout accountable for their deceptive and unscrupulous practices.Sincerely,*******

      Hello,

This customer was never told $65. They are not telling the truth and we cant fix something for someone who just flat out wont acknowledge she wasnt told an EXACT PRICE OF $65. She got her car opened at 4am for $95, a price she was made aware of. Not only is our pricing policy listed on the website but we also record every single phone call. A recording that makes clear this customer is going out of her way to keep saying things that arent true. This customer thinks she deserves a free **********************. None of that will be happening and we wont be issueing and reimbursements or credits as she received exceptional service at 4am for only $95 a fair price she was made aware of is she had just LISTENED to what the dispatch told her.
