American finance is a great company to work with, but ultimately its the people that count. **** ******* and loan processor, ******* were a great help to my wife and I during our process of re- Financing are Home. They are very professional, answered all of our questions promptly and accurately, and even dealt with us as we made changes to the process midway through.

We've refi'd with America Financing multiple times over the years. Our first experience was when we did our home addition back in 2018! Each time, the experience has been seamless. This time, ***** ****** and ******* gave us top notch service. **** was kind, thorough, responsive, and answered all my crazy questions. And ******* was on top of getting our closing scheduled promptly. It's wonderful being able to trust and count on the people you work with,.especially when it comes to a large financial shift. Thank you! You will always be our go to for our home loan needs.

I began the process of a Home Equity loan on my property in June 2024. I was aware of the difficulty in obtaining a home equity loan because on my 6.5 acres, we live in a manufactured home. They assured me that it was no problem. The second hurdle, was my credit. Due to a divorce and other unfortunate events, my credit was less than desirable. Again, I was told that it would not be a problem. Initially, when applying for the loan and getting the required documentation to proceed, the communication was great. The appraisal came in around what I suspected due to the area and the age of the home. After the appraisal, I received a conditional approval. The loan officer communicated to me that it was conditional based on making some repairs and a foundation certificate. Part of the reason for the loan was to make necessary repairs. It was not until I reached out to another company that I discovered that I could get quotes from contractors and the repairs could be paid after close within 30 days. My loan officer said that we could do that, but gave no assistance in obtaining said quotes. After talking to another finance company, I was told they have contractors and engineering companies they work with to obtain quotes in instances like this. I contacted several engineering companies that stated they could do it but my finance company would have to be the one to request it. I asked my loan officer via email with a list of companies to request the foundation certificate from. She did request one, but there was zero follow up after that. The last communication I received from them was an invoice for the appraisal in August 2024. I responded and as of 10/6/24, I have not received a response. If there was a change in my approval status, that should have been communicated to me. Secondly, after reviewing my conditional approval, I would have received less than 50% of the original amount of the loan I was taking out due to fees.

American finance is a rip off. They advertise loans in the 4s. When you call and tell them about the message and you want a conventional loan they say they cant say eithout running your credit. After that they tell you over 6 and then they tell you the 4s is for a *** loan. They could have told me that before they ran my credit and dropped my credit score with a hard check. They lie and cheat people just to get busuness. You are better off avoiding this companu and going with Rocket Mortgage. They at least give you the truth. WARNING WARNING WARNING. AVOID THIS DISHONEST COMPANY.

I cant put into words how grateful I am for **** *. and ******* *. at American Financing. Home buying can be stressful, and wow, are they all stars. I was persuaded to use a different lender and at the 11th hour, the lender told me they couldnt close me on time. I went to **** and ******* and was assured they could indeed close. THEY CLOSED ME IN UNDER 48 HOURS! I am still in awe how fast they worked my file! And not only did they close on time, but they even had lower origination fees than the previous lender. My only regret is not going with them from the beginning. I cant recommend this team enough. Im so happy to be in my home, and know that I wasnt gouged in pricing either! Literally the highest praise I can provide - beyond 5 stars!

Please thank them all. **** and I were thrilled to reduce our interest rate and take advantage of the equity in our home to reduce our debt load. American Financings process was simple, smooth, and processed professionally and courteously by all concerned. ***** kept us well informed and was quick to respond to questions and concerns, finding the best ways to work the process and the numbers on our behalf, and for our benefit. Never did I ever feel as though American Financing was trying to take advantage of us, nor did I ever feel that they were working primarily for the company. I was directed to American Financing by an ad on the ******* ***** podcast. I was thrilled to learn that there was a mortgage company with integrity and with values that reflected my own.
