Date of Transaction: July 4, 2022 Amount Paid: Final payment of $3675. Total payments to company: $17,610 Magic Beans Landscaping was to provide a professionally landscaped property, including irrigation. This would include live sod and plants, quality topsoil and grade the backyard. This commitment has not been met and will result in us hiring a different professional to correct the poor quality of work and products provided by Magic Beans Landscaping.Timing: This project was to begin June 22 and completed June 29. The initial project was not completed until July 4, including work over the entire holiday weekend. The staff of Magic Beans Landscaping would not arrive until approximately 3 pm each day, working well past 9 pm, sometimes past 11 pm. Supplies were stored in our garage, which required us to be present while the crew worked, including the weekend. None of this - the work schedule, the need to store their supplies and equipment was explained to us prior to Day 1 of work. Nature of Dispute: Incomplete project due to improperly located irrigation, exposed irrigation, and dead sod. Overall low quality of results. Backyard is not properly graded. Downspout locations were not considered, resulting in significant runoff of mulch in certain areas.We expressed concern at that time that the sod installed would not survive, as we had a brown and green checkerboard pattern in our backyard. The sod was delivered several days before installation in the backyard. Additionally, the in-ground irrigation did not appear to cover the entire sodded area. One sprinkler head is 11 in front of the edge of the sod, another is 6. Sod behind these is not receiving sufficient water, requiring us to manually water those areas. ***** (Owner) assured us that grass is hardy and sufficient water would help it recover. It did not. Attempt at Resolution: Approximately two weeks after the project team left, ***** finally relented and offered to replace the brown
