I had A-1 out to lift a couple areas of my driveway. There were professional in all aspect of the process. The owner and his crew also have a ton of experience in concrete work. They gave me advise of areas that can and can't be corrected with their leveling process. They also gave me advise on my front and rear porch that could potentially need filled or lifted in the future based on work they had done in the past with similar homes in the area. I would highly recommend A-1 to do any concrete lifting or leveling.

I have had excellent experience with A1 Concrete Leveling and cannot recommend them highly enough. About 4 years ago they came out and raised the end of the 3-car driveway at the garage and the step off the patio. They did an excellent job and the price was reasonable.Due to water runoff (not their fault) the seals at the joints needed to be replaced. Even though I am past the 3 year warranty they came out and redid the seals at no cost. They even accommodated my urgent schedule. **** was very helpful and personable and did another excellent job.They have been very responsive when I have contacted them. I would ignore the 1 star review!

I try to ignore the one star review too. My first one ever. We have had 25 of the 5 stars on the BBB but they fall off after 3 years for some reason. That person didnt even let us return her one phone call for a free bid while **** was in surgery and I was fighting kidney stones that few days. She just wanted a call back immediately and we couldnt do that as it was our busiest month of the year and we ask for 48 hours. I guess I cant win them all. lol.

After 3 unanswered phone calls from me, I called **** at A1 Concrete and said, "Are you still in business? Have you had a death in the family, or major illness?" I finally got a very rude response that says both he and his wife have medical issues. OK, but in my opinion that's still not a good excuse when you're running a business and can't be bothered to call someone back. Hire someone to help when you're out, update your phone message, let customers know when you might be back in the office. ****, be more professional instead of insulting potential customers and telling them you don't want their business. And then going on to slander another business is really going overboard. There is no call for your behavior, no matter how sick you and your wife are. I have the text and phone message to prove what I'm saying.

Im am very disappointed it came to this point. I dont think we could have done anything differently other than be able to answer her phone call immediately which wasnt possible unfortunately. We did work for ******** in 2015 and it was good enough for her to call us back now for new areas. We feel she didnt give us a reasonable turnaround time to contact her to schedule a free bid. We ask for 48 hours and we were within that still. My office manager had a freak injury and major surgery last week and is trying to work from bed the best she can. We are not a large company and I have been doing my best to help her too but I have had a kidney stone issue all week so that has made things a little harder. Thats not an excuse but we didnt totally blow her off we were just a little slower than we would have liked to reply. ******** says she called 3 times. Our system tracks calls and voicemails very thoroughly. I have time stamped screen shoots of all communications with ********. She called once on Wednesday the 16th at 2:14 pm. The next time she called was the second and only other call on Friday morning still within hour 48 hour window we ask for. We like to get people called or answer calls immediately but that isnt always possible especially on our peak month and this week was our busiest week ever in 22 years. I have never had a legitimate complaint on any site out of ****** estimate request and ****** jobs and now ******* is blasting us all over the internet about is not calling fast enough. Looking through her ****** history she has knelt ever done 1 star reviews and never a compliment for any company. Her second message she left on Friday an hour after we open for the day was so awful. She asked if someone died or we were going out of business and said we were so rude to not call her and to never come to her house and we are an awful company and so rude I have that email I would love to send to you for review. She did do an online form too but we were trying to get back to everyone still from late Wednesday and Thursday request. We would have contacted her within a few hours. We have a reminder system that tells us it is overdue and we never get to that point usually. I called and left her a voice mail after she left that message and said she was going online to file complaints which she did. She wouldnt answer the phone. I left her a voice mail and apologized but also said the voice mail was horrible and we would not offer a free bid for her now or ever. I was floored that someone would leave a message like that for a company that really had not done anything wrong other than not meet her very high expectations for turnaround time. I offered in a text to still come out and give her some free advice and point her in the right direction but that we wouldnt offer an estimate. I said I might even be able to give her some advice on how to fix her few cracks for free or at least using a very low cost product. We got no reply. I did ask her before that to not contact us again. I was pretty upset with **** crying due to the disrespectful message and I was in some pretty serious pain trying to get a CT scan at the time . We have not ever got to speak to her in person but we tried to on Friday the 18th. What if someone had died. I did have an relative and friend pass recently and that really hit home. They were just awful things she accused us of. Nobody deserves to be treated like that especially within 12 business hours of the first and only voice mail before the mean one. We would have bent over backwards for her if her second voice mail was a little more nice. I understand she was upset but maybe to ask something like I dont know if you didnt get my message but could someone please call me. I guarantee we would have called within the hour and done everything under the sun to make it up to her. One compliant in ****** request was going to happen at some point. If it was something we did totally wrong like ruined her concrete, caused any damage, or just didnt show up to scheduled appointment I would totally accept this review and the one on ******. I always appreciate feedback of done tastefully. This was not tasteful. Is was degrading and disrespectful.

Great company, great work! Very reasonable and nice to work with!! They even returned to help me with another issue I had, and they made great recommendations for how to prevent the need for further concrete leveling. Highly recommend!!
