Purchased a digital & print subscription to *************** Magazine as a gift for a friend. Transaction number: ****************** was processed on May 10, 2024. Magazine Circle advertised that the subscription would start 4-6 weeks after the transaction was processed , which was reasonable to me. On July 5, 2024, I sent another email to Magazine Circle inquiring about the status of my order since neither the print or digital issues were received. I received a reply stating that the issues should start between 8/13/2024 - 9/10/2024...nearly 4 months after ordering! No explanation was given regarding the reason for this excessive delay. Nevertheless, I remained patient. It is now October 24, more than 5 months since my transaction was processed, and the digital / print editions still have NOT been received. This extended and pervasive delay is unreasonable and unacceptable! I sent another email to Magazine Circle today demanding a full refund due to failure to provide the services ordered. I am awaiting a reply and a refund for this purchase. Upon further investigating the history of this business and consumer complaints, it appears that my situation is quite common - and perhaps even intentional (assuming that many consumers will forget the purchase after repeated and prolonged delays). Magazine Circle needs to be held accountable here and I intend to pursue all means necessary to receive a resolution and refund of my purchase.Business response

We have processed your order for *************** magazine and forwarded the payment to the publisher. The first issue was scheduled to start on August 13, 2024. In our email on July 5th, we asked you to notify us if the recipient will not receive the magazine by the expected date so we could follow up with the publisher. Since we did not hear from you regarding any delays, we were unaware of the issue. As a result, we have decided to cancel your order and issue a refund. Please expect credit to your account within 7 to 10 days.

***** *****PS: To be completely accurate, the original subscription was advertised to be delivered 4-6 weeks after transaction was processed on May 10, 2024. Magazine Circle subsequently moved delivery date to August / September after I originally inquired about the delay. I've never received any explanation from Magazine Circle regarding the cause of the excessive and repeated delays, or the reason for failing to deliver the product / service. Point is moot now.

I placed an order for a 1 yr subscription of the Vanidades magazine on February 2, 2024, and to this date I never received not one magazine. I am requesting my total refund ********* has bee way too long!***** *********Business response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We received Dianas renewal for BETTER HOMES & GARDENS magazine on 2/2/2024. There is no order for Vanidades, and that this magazine is unavailable on our sites. Her subscription to Better Homes & Gardens is active, with the publisher mailing issues to the address she provided. Additionally, we havent received any emails or messages from ***** since the order was placed. Attached are her order details and account summary, which can also be found on the publishers site.
Please check the credit card statement and either call the listed company or contact the Vanidades magazine publisher directly. We hope this helps resolve the complaint.

On July 28, 2024, ************************* sent us an email to inquire about his MOPAR Action magazine subscription. One of our representatives emailed him, indicating that the order was not placed on our site. We are a magazine subscription agency and not a magazine publisher. If payment was not made to us, we are unable to provide a refund. We are happy to give a refund if he can provide documentation that the money was paid to our company. We suggest to check his credit card statement and contact the business where he made the order. All we did was help him.

I received an offer if February to purchase a subscription for People Magazine from ********************* for $116.07. I paid this amount by CC back in February. I have a receipt from Magazine Circle,LLC that processed my payment. As of this date, I have not received my magazine Subscription. I think this is a scam and I am requesting a refund of the amount I paid. Even if this is not a scam, I want to get my money back because I feel this was sent on false pretenses. Hi BBB,*************************** voluntarily placed her orders for 2 magazine subscriptions on our site. We sent her the delivery schedules set by the publisher but she asked to cancel her orders. We processed the cancellation and issued the refund on 8/1/2024. We emailed her stating that the refund was completed. Attached are screenshots of the email and refund details.

Ordered subscription to Allrecipes by mail and paid by check # ***** On February 20th 2024. Have not seen check processed through my bank. Understand that subscription may not start until 3 months later but check not run through and has been 2 months. I emailed once and left 2 voice mails. ***************************** placed her order to Allrecipes magazine in our site on 2/19/2024. We sent her an email on 3/31/2024 stating that we received the check payment. We have already processed and submitted the order to the publisher wherein it was added to her existing subscription and extended to another year. We attached herewith a screenshot of her account showing that subscription is active and being serviced.

Hi BBB,
*********************** ordered *********** magazine subscriptions on our site on 12/12/2023. First issue usually starts in 8-12 weeks, this was stated in the order confirmation email. This is because when we receive the order, it takes about a week for the subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. It will then be included with the publisher's next production cycle and shipped to you via standard mail. With this, we cancelled ******* orders and issued a full refund.
We are looking forward to the immediate resolution of this case.

Hi BBB,
*****'s renewal to People magazine was received on 11/7/2023. We sent her an email last 1/7/**** advising her that first issue will start in Jan. 22. ****. No missed delivery was reported to the publisher. She should be getting her magazine issues now. We attached herewith our email and screenshots of *****'s account in the publisher site.
We decided to cancel her ongoing subscription with us and issued a full refund. Please expect credit within 72 hours.

I inadvertently ordered a renewal of my subscription to The Week magazine through Magazine Circle on November 5, 2023 (I actually thought I was on the publisher's website). They charged my credit card on that date. I have not received the magazine since then. I tried to call Magazine Circle regarding this matter. They do not answer their phone and I have received no response to my phone message. At this point, I would just like a refund of the amount that was charged to my account.Thank you for your help getting this issue resolved.Business response

We have ***********;renewal to The Week magazine on 11/5/2023. First issue is set to start in around 3rd week of January. We issued a full refund at our expense as the publisher will no longer refund since subscription is now active and being serviced. Note that it usually takes **** weeks for the first issue to start.

My subscription was not renewed and I am getting no response from this company .I have called and submitted e mail.Since this renewal was to extend an existing subscription, we didn't miss our magazine until a couple of weeks ago. Customer ********************* placed an order to People magazine from our site for ********************* om 10/18/2023. It stated on the magazine details ******************************************************************** that it will take ***** weeks for first issue to start. We have processed the order directly with the publisher and renewal should start anytime between 1/15/24 and 2/12/24.
To address this complaint, we cancelled the order and issued a full refund to his credit card account. We are attaching herewith screenshots of the refund and delivery schedule of the magazine.Thank you for your assistance in closing this issue.
