  What course of action can I take to have this invoice adjusted.September 18, 2022 Paul Davis Restoration of NE Denver and Aurora (PDR) was hired for cleanup and mitigation after attic fire. ****** with PDR, ***** *****, Allstate adjuster and I discussed scope. PDR was authorized to remove the drywall from living room and the kitchen ceilings to expose trusses for engineer inspection to determine extent of structural damage and were to provide engineers report to me as soon as it was available. If trusses needed to be replaced. PDR was to stop work immediately, provide an estimate for attic and roof repair so I could evaluate options on clean-up or or complete demo and to manage budget. Sept, Oct and Nov passed and I still had no engineers report or straight answers on structural damage or estimate for repairs or any documents.***** authorized removing drywall in the ** and Kitchen and possibly two rooms adjacent after testing determined need. The drywall upstairs would only be cleaned. PDR stripped my entire house to four outside stud walls. Charged me for work they didn't do and for unauthorized demo. I have to pay to rebuild unauthorized demo. PDR invoiced their job at least $30k over. According to all 12 other contractors and carpenters asked for estimates, demo & clean up should be below $29,000. PDR charged $63k+not leaving sufficient funds to rebuild. PDR claims removing drywall upstairs was justified. Services had not been authorized. After 3 months of review, Allstate changed their story and sent me check for $63889.70. Project left unmanaged when ****** quit. 2Workers left to destroy at will, even broke plumbing causing addtl expense. PDR needs to endorse and accept reasonable payment of $33,000. I can prove Gutting upstairs or the rooms below not justified. I can prove attic + other areas were not cleaned. Attic was to be done before moving forward from day 1, highest priority. Removed *************** more expense. If Law suit required no problem.
