Our roof was damages by a tornado last June. We signed a contract with Peak to Peak to repair the damages. We paid a 50% deposit. They came out about 2 months (end of August) later to make the repairs. While they were completing the repairs, the ripped the attic fan out and replaced it with a roof vent. They did not mention this to us. About a month later, my husband went up to the attic to turn the attic fan off for the winter (we only run it during the summer months). At that time we discovered the exposed wiring that Peak to Peak had left behind with electricty still flowing to it. This is a huge fire hazard and they never even mentioned this to us. We also discovered the vent that had been installed in place of the fan. We immediately contacted ********************* who we had been working with for the roof repairs. He said he notified ** at Peak to Peak and that someone would be out to fix this issue in a couple weeks. Since the end of September, when we discovered the attic fan had been ripped out, I have left 20+ messages on Peak to Peak's answering machine trying to get someone to call me back regarding this issue. In addition we have emailed **** numerous times trying to get some information of when this will be resolved. We still owe Peak to Peak 50% of the contracted amout. Our insurance company has said we should not pay them until the roof is returned to the condition it was in before the storm. I cannot get anyone at this company to call me back or talk to us about the missing attic fan. In December, **** emailed about asking the insurance company for additional money for some other repairs they did when they came out in August. I responded back about the attic fan, never heard anything back including what additional repairs they made in August. Would just like to ge this wrapped up soon. Thank you!
