*** update** called corporate 5days later no call back. Arizona differential confirmed brakes plus did not get all the metal shaving from a failed bearing, out from there work and it destroyed all the new bearings they installed** 4k of work down the drain!!! Just got off from the phone with the store manager (does not care at all ) spent 10s of thousands of dollars over the last 3 years here. After all of that the store manager told me basically who cares we are corporate owned. when all the work I did 1000s on the rear end alone, is completely shot according to Arizona differential ( that the store manager referred me too) barley a few thousand miles. No de escalation skills no care in the world. He did not care and its a recorded line of course and has a poor attitude. I will call corporate. Stay away from this place !! They are welcome to contact me and make it right if they want and sure they wont.Review from Alex B

This place is not even BBB accredited and now I know why. Please read reviews in ******. The cheat people and lie and damage the cars and when you take your car back because they talk about life time warranty , they claim the problem is something else and charge you all over agin. The simple break job suppose to cost $299 but end up being $1100.Review from Andrew W

Hello all friends and family I’m no r usually someone to put someone on blast. I would like to let everyone know know how brakes plus in Fort Collins put my family in danger.? we went and got new brakes and they forgot to put a bolt on. As we were driving down mulberry. We went over a bumpy road, and our brake caliber fell off the rotor jammed between the rotor and tire, which made us go to a complete stop at 40 miles an hour. We were almost rear ended. I had to pay for a tow truck to drop my car off there. this happened on Saturday still never contacted me today when I called the manager. ***** was a complete jerk and was laughing at the situation. they refused to replace the rim and to give me my money back, they said they will give me a credit but. Why would I ever want to put my family in danger again I’m asking you to please share this so nobody else puts their family in danger.Review from Deniece R

I showed up to my appt at 8am to get rear brakes and rotors done. I was told it would take about 2 hours to complete so I just dropped off my car. Because my vehicle may need to have a new caliper, the team said they would call me to update me if that was the case. I asked him about the premium vs economy brakes because they just upgraded without even asking At 12:20pm I called to see if my car was ready to be picked up and whether that caliper was in fact needed. Mgr said yes it was needed and the car will be ready in 45 mins. When I showed up at 1:45pm, I was told the vehicle was not ready yet and they need to put the tires on and itll take a few mins. I took a break from work to get my vehicle and now it was taking even longer. So I left the shop again. At 2:01pm I received a call that the vehicle was ready. When I picked up the car I knew something was wrong because my brakes barely worked and had too much air and I need to press down to even slow down. This was hazardous when I was trying to slow down on the freeway and felt I couldnt brake. I called the shop and spoke with Mgr who said there might be a breaking in period but I can always stop by and he can check. I brought the vehicle back and also showed him a picture of a huge black stain that was left on my tan interior side which is cloth. I did my best to clean it at home and hope it dries well without residue. Mgr came back and said that this is the second time his equipment left too much air in the lines and thats the reason why this is making it hard to brake. Well, this is obviously a huge problem because people are driving their vehicles and shouldnt have to worry about wrecking because of faulty equipment or repair job. The problem was finally fixed. After a 2 hour promise that turned into almost 8 hours. Ill never come here again. There should have been some form of reimbursement for the issues I had yesterday and multiple trips back but this is probably just how Brakes Plus operates.Review from Hannah C

I am very dissatisfied with this shop!!! NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!! My car has been there for 8 days and it's still not resolved!!! I first brought my car there to fix my ** which cost me over $1,100. It even has warranty from them! It started messing up a month later. No cold air and my car had major trouble running. I brought it back. 3 days later they said pick it up it's good to go and fixed but after that call, they called me back 15 min later saying now it's stalling and it's the battery. I paid them for a new battery ON TOP OF THE ** fix but it still stalled with them putting in a new battery. When they checked AGAIN after the battery they said it's the wiring. NOW TODAY THEY SAID ITS THE ***** MOUNTS AND THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN THAT IF THEY DIDNT GO THROUGH STEPS!! ***** and ***** blamed me telling me I should've told them it stalled on me. IT NEVER STALLED ON ME!!! ONLY WITH THEM!!! They both blamed me for their failures!!!! I am very dissatisfied. I am going through ***** and ** treatment and them bulls***ing me for over a week was very very hard. I'm just taking my car back. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!Review from Salvatore A

This business deserves no stars. They do not take care of their employees or customers. They do not offer training for the employees. The have poor customer service. They will take your money and not do the work that was discussed. On every level this business has been failing since they sold it to *****. Once it was bought out it went down hill quickly.Review from Tamra C

Rockwall Brakes Plus experience has been very pleasant for oil change and state inspections two vehicles. Value appears good for the service and any problems were resolved on the spot and to my satisfaction.Review from Brandon B

As long as I continue to live I will "NOT" step foot into one of these establishments! Each time I go, I have an issue. My most recent one was on 07/31/24. I went earlier in the week, the following Monday, 07/29/24. I spoke to the General Manager, *********************** and another man with him named ******. I asked them to look at a fog light in the front that had "died". ****** told me to comeback on Wednesday and that ****** would help me, since he was off . Once, I arrived on Thursday, I was greeted by ***** and ****** saw me. I flagged him over of which he kept saying that "*****" would help me. This was approx around 9:15 am. ***** could not find the part but said he would locate one and get it picked-up and delivered to the shop. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, in the Lobby until, I got frustrated about all the new people coming in and leaving the store before and after me. I arrived at 8:06 am CST give or take and did NOT leave until 12 noon; for a replacement bulb and got talked into getting an oil change which I did NOT need. I know how these places upcharge and ****** is good about that. I was toooo made for the inconvenience of waiting while other folks left without issue. In fact, I asked for a Lyft to take me home and when they were through playing around they called me back with another Lyft. This is unacceptable and I paid $149.23 which I want back on my card to make this fiasco right! *****, **************** thought it was a "joke" in my opinion, which it was NOT. I contacted the corporate office while I was there and told them I was passed being mad and tired of waiting! The Lady I spoke to told me she would send my complaint to a manager and I never heard from one. I would say it was a "black" issue but the guys were ALL black that I was dealing with so the entire ordeal was "funny" to them. Again, I will NOT be back and want every DIME I paid put back on my card! I will go back to my "honest" mechanic in ******, *****!Review from Corey C

2/2023 I had pad and rotors replaced, supposedly, about $600. May 2024 I get a bad vibration when braking. I take it back in they say no brakes are perfect but the control arms are bad, $1200 gone and the problem isnt fixed. I take it to another shop who says these are the worst warped rotors hes ever seen. His opinion was brakes plus never replaced my rotors to begin with but charged me for it then when I brought it back they couldnt say the rotors were shot because they would have had to admit it was there fault so they charged me to fix something else. This place took advantage of me being a woman who doesnt know a lot about cars and it cost me a ton of money in the long run. They are dishonest and scammy. I will never use them again and will always talk people out of going there as well. I called and spoke to a women who never gave me her name and she at first said couldnt be accurate, then conveniently couldnt pull up my account before eventually hanging up on me. The absolute worst customer service and experience Ive ever had with a business.
