They post jobs on different sites ( Workintexas ) and when they are filled or cancelled they do not update the information. They allow people looking for work to apply for jobs that are not available . I spoke to a representative at TTEC on 8/2/2024 made her aware of the issue and she would not allow me to talk to her supervisor and said supervisors do not talk to applicants and her name was *****.

Using the app ******** (meta), I saw a listing of a home job that seemed interesting to me, I messaged an individual under the name of "*********************", in this message they provided more information on the description of the job and what was to be expected. It seemed like a good fit and I was prompted and given a specific code to follow up with their "hiring manager", that went by the name of "****** Allens", from a company named "Ttec", to do the interview. In this process, we went back and forth through ********* Teams, which seemed like a convenience at the time, I didn't have to stress myself out to impress these people over video chat. After a few minutes, I was told I was hired for the position. They sent me documents and an employment letter to sign and send back to them. After giving them personal information and setting groundwork for what was expected from the job, I was told about the opportunity of flexible hours, above minimum wage pay, and not to mention I was going to be doing all of this at the comfort of my home. I was also told the supplies and everything I needed would be provided by the company, so one thing less to worry about. All of a sudden I was told, that rather than the company providing me with everything, I needed to order the supplies to get the job done, and I would be given a check by the company to deposit into my account to pay for it all. I wasn't opposed to this new idea and at the time it didn't sound like a bad one, so i deposited the check into my account and only $225 of the check was available which is one of the banks policies. Once the bank reviewed the check, the rest of the amount would be ready in my account to purchase the items. Since I would have to wait 3-5 business days for the rest of the money to be in my account, I informed the "hiring manager" aka ****** Allens, that the full amount was yet to be in my account. onclusion that it would be best to send the money to the "vendor" so the supplies would be sent.
