Utilized ***************************** as general contractor to handle repairs following hail storm in 2019 (roof, outdoor painting, and gutters). Had problems with contractors in 2019: portion of roof had to be redone, siding damaged, issues with skylights when placed, and another painter in neighborhood approached us to notify us painters had not done proper prep work prior to painting the house. In August 2023, roof near skylight began to leak on an internal wall. Leaking has continued to get worse with water now coming in the dkylight when it rains. We have been in contact with contractor and he says he will come by house to check but has not.

This homeowner does not have a contract with Sorensen General Contracting. We have been in contact to try and help out this homeowner, they were out of town all last week while my roofing repair person visited their home on 09/07/23 @ 11:22am. The skylight Aluminum cladding on top of the sky light and the seal underneath it has failed, it is not from the installation that was nearly 5 years ago. We have given the photos of the skylight and a cost to replace the failed skylight to the homeowner or to try and use sealant on over the top of the failed seal to get them by for a while.
We politely would ask for this negative review be taken down as it is not warranted or under contract with Sorensen General Contracting.

I have also done some digging into this property address, they were hit with 1 1/4" sized hail on 08/03/2023, it was only after that storm did they suddenly have leaking going on around the seal of their skylight. They are simply trying to get their property fixed as a cause of a storm event and provide false BBB complaints demanding that we fix it.
