Last year this time, we bought 2022 to ***** ultra entertainer 25 foot beautiful boat at the Denver boat show. It was the one on the floor at the show all the bells and whistles 400 hp motor. First Day out, Biminis blew off, if somebody would’ve been sitting on the lounger they would have been seriously hurt or worse one or two months later that became a recall item from Barletta, not long after that the depth finder quit working, found out later the plug came off, the nice dining table that makes it the entertainer has some beautiful, beautiful chrome welds that came apart Now they want to fix it with L brackets. Also, on the first Day out the paint started peeling on all the floor rails. We wanted to trade it last summer, but the owners at Colorado boat center asked me to wait until this year‘s boat show they would not be able to pay me what that boat was worth at that time in the season but if I waited, I they would definitely take care of me. NOT SO MUCH!! Went to visit them today at this year‘s boat show they offered $60,000 less than I paid for it , not a very happy man today there’s less than 30 hours on this brand new boat that is supposed to be heads and shoulders above the rest when it comes to build quality. On top of that, I can’t even trade today because of all the warranty work that still isn’t done and it was reported when we got back from Lake Havasu last March. Sold me a $2000 cover for travel, and it came apart on the way to Havasu our first voyage BUYER BEWARE!!!!! They called me in today for an appointment at 11:30 to tell me they couldn’t help me which could’ve been said over the phone or email or text but I guess they didn’t want proof of the conversation this time stay away at all cost!Colorado Boat Center Response

Through 33 years in business Colorado Boat Center has done it’s best to maintain a positive image and ownership experience for all of our customers. Unfortunately, there may be occasions when a dispute arises and an amicable resolution may not be met between parties. In response to this review, Colorado Boat Center has fulfilled and met the warranty and repair requirements needed to Mr P****** boat. CBC is the selling dealer for ******** Pontoons and is bound to the warranty process and parts availability provided by the manufacturer. Since purchasing the boat in Feb 2022 Mr P**** has had some warranty needs that were brought to our attention and have been addressed, repaired and completed up to this date. Warranty complaints: 1) March 6, 2022: Bimini top hardware damaged causing top to break. Resolution: parts were overnighted to Mr. P**** while on vacation at Lake Havasu. Customer Replaced. Issue resolved 03/08/2022 2) March 19, 2022: Issue presented regarding ****** Fish Finder not reading depth. Resolution: Attempted to diagnose over the phone but unable to repair without having the unit on site. Update 04/05/2022, transducer was not connected to head unit. Reconnected and unit is working as it should. Issue resolved 04/07/2022 3) April 5, 2022: Stitching on the front zipper of the travel cover is coming apart. Resolution: Stitching was repaired by ****** ****** ******. Issue Resolved 04/15/2022 4) April 5, 2022: Paint peeling on Stb & Port trim rails. Resolution: Warranty claim submitted 04/05/2022, ******** will send out new deck rails estimated arrival, n/a. Parts received 02/15/2023. Issue Resolved 03/02/2023 5) July 21, 2022: LED lights under table have fallen off. Resolution: clean surfaces and reinstall adhesive strips. Issue resolved 07/26/2022 6) July 21, 2022: Recall notice, replace mounting hardware Resolution: parts replaced 07/26/2022 7) July 21, 2022: Broken weld on table support. Resolution: install new bracket per ********** advice. Issue resolved 07/26/2022 Aside from issue no. 4, Mr. P****’s warranty issues were addressed and corrected within a timely manner. Regarding issue no. 4, these are large items that are not stocked at the dealer level and were not readily available from ********. Part availability and constraint are dictated by the manufacturer and their suppliers. Mr P**** submitted a customer response survey to ******** on Aug 29, 2023 indicating that he was completely satisfied with CBC and would definitely recommend us to a friend or family member. Around this same time Mr P**** had approached the sales staff indicating that he may be interested in getting into another model of boat and trading in his current unit. Due to the timing of the year and the seasonal constraints of the boating industry it was recommended to Mr P**** that he may want to wait until the upcoming boat show in Jan 2023. January 2023, Mr P**** approached Ashley S**** at the Denver Boat Show and asked her to value his boat for a possible trade towards another unit. Ashley provided Mr P**** with the value of his boat. based on the data given back by the **** ****** ******* *****. This is the same data point CBC uses for all trade appraisals and is what the banks require for their lending guidelines on used boats. Upon hearing the appraised value of his boat Mr P**** became upset and accused Ashley of being a crook and a liar. This is the same individual who months prior had expressed his complete satisfaction with our business. The industry has gone through an unprecedented growth trend these past 3 years and used units have maintained record levels. As the Fed began to increase rates in June of 2022, we started to notice the correction of values on the used side of the market. Colorado Boat Center does not set the value of a boat in a given market nor do other dealers. It is **** alone that establishes value for the consumer, dealer and banks. Unfortunately, in this situation the relationship with Mr P**** took a turn at this moment he received the trade value on his boat. He immediately took to Google to post a 1 star review and personally attack individuals at CBC. During this period CBC received the final pieces that had been on order since April 2022 to finish the warranty repairs to Mr P****’s boat. Upon completion, Mr P**** was asked to come down to approve the repair as completed. Additionally, while he was here Ashley informed Mr P**** that Colorado Boat Center was not interested in taking his boat in on trade. Mr P**** left the building just saying “fine, you could have just told me that over the phone.” The purpose of having him come to the store was to see completed service work to his boat, to which he approved. Soon after, Mr P**** submitted another 1 star Google review, 1 star Yelp review and the BBB review. Upon receiving this notification, it was decided that it would be best if Mr P**** picked up his boat and we each move in our own direction.Customer Response

Just a quick response to CBC’s comments there was no personal attack. Only truth mentioned with photos backing up the truth. I am no longer welcome because apparently you’re only allowed to give positive reviews to CBC. My situation is unique. I don’t think a lot of their customers test them the way I have simply because most of them keep their boats, ******** is a great brand it just so happens that we had some warranty issues that prohibited us from trading it well the value was within an acceptable range and it was CBC that kept me from being able to trade it and it was CBC that recommended I wait. I have photos and text streams of my conversation and my reviews are online for everyone to see 100% truth evidently is not welcome at CBC. The Northern Colorado public should be aware of their practices. They stand on this premise that they’ve been in business for 33 years but the man running the company for 33 years isn’t running at that much anymore. And I have dealt with Ashley the entire time and she is sweet as pie until she is held accountable for her words. Hard to deny when they’re in black-and-white instead of hearsay.Customer Response
