If i could give a even lower star rating i would. THIS PLACE IS AND WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! THA CARE WAS ALMOST NON EXISTENTANS VERY POOR. My mom was in there after a bad fall. She declined so rapidly when she was there she developed heart problems. She arrived from the hospitaland was only partially showered due to aspen collar. She still had blood all over her neck and in her ears from when she fell 2 weeks prior. No one ever cleaned her room, changer the bed or even her clothes for that matter. The food was completely unedible! They couldnt get her meds right. Shed push the call light and maybe 30 minuted someone would answer if at all. The cna's never not one time helped her wash her face or brush her teeth. I was spending all my time morning noon and night there just to take care of her. That included giving her meds . The night cna was ok but day shift where everything happens they had nasty attitudes. Please if anyone is considering putting your loved ones in this place think again. I wouldnt let my worst enemy stay here. This place really sucks!! Im going to be filing a formal complaint with **** . This place should be shut down!!

My brother was in this heartless and abusive facility. He has had multiple falls since arriving hes spent over an hour on the bathroom floor waiting for help the staff who help lift him up were extremely rough and downright abusive, he had a broken arm and they would still just leave him in the bathroom numerous times by himself and would not come back and check on him an hour or 2 hours later, he had fallen on the floor and could not get up and hes fallen numerous times, staff does not respond to the call button when pushed they had No regard to his broken arm when they tried to help him up when the finally did arrive. Also when they finally did respond he had defecated on himself and was never given a shower while he was there, literally, not even a sponge bath!! The majority of the staff are nasty neglectful and abusive or just absent they have taken his belongings with no explanations! we are beside ourselves because he is begging for us to take him out of there but cannot be released until he has mobility enough to be safe he even wanted to call 911 because of the abuse!! His medication wasnt given to him on time, either! My sister and I both work full-time and unfortunately could not bring him into our home. He was admitted to Promedica Lakewood, On 2 occasions back to back and he didnt want to go back the 2 nd time because of the abuse. There where no other rehabs excepting new patients in our area as we looked for many. We feel for anyone else who is about to enter into this nightmare! DO NOT ignore any claims of elder abuse, period! department of human services was even notified in house to complain about this abuse. My brother had tears when my sister asked him what the night staff did to him. My brother was not able to speak that well because of his dysphasia, so he wasnt able talK I called to file a complaint and I dont know if things were addressed as no one returned my phone call or followed up with me. Do not take your loved one to this place.
