After using The Cleaning Authority for 12 years they abruptly terminated our service because I let them know that a couple of things had been damaged and the cleaners didn't complete the tasks that were to be done on that date. The reason we stayed with them for 1 2 years was because we had the same lead cleaner for the duration while many others that came to help came and went, usually after being trained. Any time I let them know things that needed to be corrected or not done, it was met on the defensive. Their customer contact and service is quite lacking. This is a poorly run franchise. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

    The Cleaning Authority Response

    03/21/2023

Lynda, We appreciate the 12 years you allowed The Cleaning Authority to service your home. Our reason for providing a *two week notice* of your termination was not related to any damaged items or missed requests in your home. During the duration of the 12 years of service we provided, we have accommodated your numerous requests. However, your willingness to allow us to train teams, cooperate with scheduling, and allow other teams in your home, who we have vetted for your home has been denied. We would not have been in business for over 22 years had we not been able to train, and keep our employees. Having a team lead in your home who is unable to train prevents our ability to grow as a business. We understood your request to continue to keep your team lead as a one person team, but we can no longer fulfill that request, as she has been promoted. In order to continue growing our business, she is no longer in houses cleaning. You have shown resistance in allowing other teams to come into your home, even accompanied by team lead that you had requested. We would have been happy to replace the toilet seat, however you told the team it had already been taken care of. Knowing the history of our communications with you, you have always called to discuss any dissatisfactions immediately after your service. We were not informed of the accused damage until the team arrived two weeks later to perform your next scheduled clean. You instead discussed the damage to the toilet seat with only the team lead and the team after the replacement had taken place. Again, the termination was not about the accusations of us damaging and neglecting your home. It was a strategic move for our business to benefit the team lead in your home and to maximize our growth as a business. Anyone with questions regarding our customer service can refer to our high ratings on ****** and ********. We would be happy to discuss any questions pertaining to our customer service on any of our reviews posted. There are always going to be dissatisfied customers due to the fact that we as a service are human and sometimes make mistakes, but our reputation precedes us. We always guarantee that we will send a team back to your home within 24 hours to make any corrections to the service you may have been dissatisfied with. Sometimes there are relationships that must end due to seeing things differently and to be able to move forward in a different direction. We accepted the termination of your home as impeding us from success. We wish you well. The Cleaning Authority-Loveland

    Customer Response

Some of the comments from the Cleaning Authority are true and some aren't. They did NOT give us a two week notice! The notice was dated March 16, 2023 and our last clean was March 15, 2023. No two weeks... We did allow them to send teams to be trained, but after two or three times cleaning with several things missed or not done properly we asked not to have those particular teams back. In the past when we mentioned things that were damaged or broken, we were told accidents happen, so nothing was mentioned regarding the toilet seat to management. I told the girls at the next clean. We realize there is a lot of turnover in the cleaning business, but when I mentioned things, management was still usually on the defensive! Most reputable businesses would have called to discuss the situation and come to an agreeable conclusion. Not the case with the Loveland Cleaning Authority. Being a loyal client for 12 years while having quite a few teams trained by our lead cleaner, Stephanie, at our home seems to mean little to this Cleaning Authority franchise.
