I was given multiple itemized estimate(s) for our move originally ranging from $3100-3400 to include picking up our items, storing them and then delivering them once our house closed between our new house & a storage unit. Right before our move the estimate changed to about $4500-$4900. I called to confirm that was an accurate estimate as we would not have chosen to use them if it was more than that. After the move they requested payments broken up into different invoices totally upwards of $8500, + additional storage fees. I believe they were holding our belongings hostage to get more money out of us. Our belongings were picked up without issue on 10/13/21. Once we were ready to schedule the delivery into the new house / storage unit we were given a a date for delivery of 11/10/21 which was rescheduled, then they delivered a portion of our stuff on 11/24/21. They notified us that some of our large items were severely damaged & were "left in storage". They also notified us that they were having an irreplaceable antique table fixed due to severe damage, but when the table was finally delivered the "fix" was not adequate & will need to be redone by a professional. Upon delivery we realized that almost all of our furniture was damaged, wholes in mattresses, leather chairs, etc. With some of our stuff missing for well over a month, they would not return phone calls or inquiries into where our stuff was. They found most of it with about 1/4 still lost on our second delivery, which the truck broke down so could not be finished. We created a list of items what were still missing from our delivery & it took them another month to find & deliver those items. We have been trying to work with the owner to reconcile the estimate with the invoices and have not been able to come to a reasonable agreement.Business response

This person has also sent a complaint to the Colorado PUC. Since that is an actual government agency I am going through the process with the PUC. It doesn't make sense to me to also have to handle this complaint through the BBB. Thanks, Ryan
