            I brought my 12 year old cat into Ski Town Animal Hospital to extract some teeth with cavities and remove a benign growth under his tongue. He came back dead. The vet said he had a heart attack from a blood clot during anesthesia. I drove there immediately and she was doing cpr and said she had been doing it for 15 minutes. She continued for another five or six minutes in what seemed like a performative manner (for show) then declared that he was dead and she had been doing cpr for 45 minutes to no avail. Said he had an enlarged heart but enlarged hearts don't produce blood clots. The long and short of it is he went in healthy and came back dead, with no actual surgery performed.I believe it was incompetence. She didn't do something she should have done like maybe giving him blood thinners. Or maybe she did something she shouldn't have done. I don't know. My cat went in for minor surgery and that same surgery was performed by another vet for almost the exact same condition minus the teeth just six months earlier. He came back fine from that surgery.
