We hired ****** at United Windows and Siding. We put 1/2 deposit down for windows $3199.42, windows $3805, Lattice $828.18, Siding $4541. We had part of the work done by the painter and the painter never got paid. I asked for an invoice and never received one. They were supposed to install the windows on May 8 and 9. He ****** the owner) said "Hey ********, thanks for reaching out to me. Busy day. My window crew just pushed us back roughly a week and a half from now which puts us n the week of the 20th. Such a bummer. I can put you back on our calendar for the 21st to be safe if that is okay with you". I confirmed they were coming on the 21st and he said "Good morning ********! Sorry for the late reply. confirmed they were coming on the 2ist and he said "Good morning ********! Sorry for the late reply. I initially decided to install your project myself along with one of my guys. However, I have traveled back east to take care of my mother's affairs due to her recently passing away on Sunday. I apologize for not letting you know on Monday. It's been a little challenging with everything going on. I maybe out back east for a week or two but not sure. I will have an answer for you within a couple of days. Thank you for your understanding" Since the 20th of June ****** the owner will not respond to text, email, phone calls on his cell phone and they just keep taking messages at his office. I have had no communication. I am asking for a full refund. Thanks you ******************************* ************ *****************************

In March 2022, I signed a contract with this company for the installation of ****** windows & a patio door. I paid half down, then the rest on the completion of the project in late October 2022. The reasons I was given for the extensive delays and lack of communication between the signing of the contract and partial payment and the completed project was a combination of labor & material shortages. Once the installation was complete, and problems started occurring, my attempts to communicate via email, text and voicemail have frequently failed. What I need, and have asked for repeatedly, is a replacement for the patio door, a repair or replacement of the screen for the upstairs bathroom window, and a screen for the large slider in my bedroom. I am asking, as I have before, for one of the following: for this company to follow through on their promised warranty or to refund me the cost of purchasing another screen door for the patio door, a screen for the bedroom slider & a repair kit for the bathroom window screen. The hole is about the size of a silver dollar. Until one of these two solutions occurs, I will continue to assume that the warranty is worthless and the company deceitful in its marketing promises. I hope this doesn't end up in a small claims court, but if that is the only action that will produce a fair result, for me, the customer who forked out more than $17,000, I will take that step if this BBB complaint fails to produce the justified follow-through on the company's part.

After speaking with a customer, she confirmed that she filed a complaint under a wrong company. We have no affiliation with this customer nor we performed or provided her with any bids. Thank you.
