Advanced Pools and Repair, James P*****, owner, put in a pool we did not order. We gave him a copy of what we wanted which is a ******** pool and he put in a much cheaper ******** pool. He submitted paper work to our insurance company specifying a more expensive pool with additional items we did not receive. On the original contract he wrote up, the pool is a ******** pool. We put a $500.00 deposit down when we signed the contract in February 2024. In March we inquired about the pool being installed. He put us off stating "next week". Weeks went by, no pool. Between March 2024 and June 2024 we texted him and called him asking when the pool will be installed. Again, he gave us excuses. In addition, we told him it is crucial for my daughter to use the pool because of her disability. Her renowned neurologist in ******* ************* stated that swimming everyday will be important to keep her walking instead of being wheelchair bound. June 21, 2024 James installed the pool we did not pay for. We told him to take down the pool! It is the wrong pool! James argued with us. As it stands, the wrong pool is sitting in our yard unusable and we refuse to use a pool we did not pay for!!!Customer response

Our previous pool was a 21 foot round ********* ****** ***** pool with a 25 gauge liner purchased by myself from ******** **** and supply in 2022. This pool was damaged by a fallen tree during a storm. We stated to Advanced Pools to order an up graded pool with a 25 gauge liner which is stated in the written contract from Advanced Pools. We did not receive this. We received a ******** pool, which many professionals told us to stay away from and we received a 12 gauge liner which is paper thin. My husband (who is a senior citizen) was here when Advanced Pools finally came to install the pool and my husband was taken advantage of and not aware of which pool was being installed. We were under tremendous stress waiting for this pool to be installed. Advanced Pools promised us so many times that he was coming to install the pool but he never came. Finally when Advanced Pools came it was extremely stressful. When the pool was almost installed, my husband was ordered by Advanced Pools to pay him the rest of the money. The next day I stated to James to take down the unfinished pool because we DID NOT order it. James said he is not going to take it down. At this point, I am demanding a full refund and James remove the unwanted pool.
